Bestos, the Burdened

Lore: Bestos was always reckless, adventurous, and always got into trouble. This proved just the case when he decided to be a daredevil and try to interfere with ancient rituals.

He and his friends had stumbled upon something like no other while already on a daring trip through the Conquerer's Sea. They came across the Shadow Isles, and saw what appeared to be the summoning of a beast. There were the key magicians of Valoran, and they were holding hands and chanting something unknown.

An odd, large symbol with 3 parts was in between them. It turned bright gold, and soon all of them were trapped in gold light, motionless, the chant ceased completely. A figure appeared along with a flurry of tiny little creatures. the figure blew on a horn, and all of the gold light disappeared. A projection of something appeared beneath all of them as the figure watched.

"It's coming. We have to leave. Now."
"But what about the rest of Valoran? We can't leave them all to die!"
"It is the only option. At least some will survive. Those survivors will be us."
" But there must be a way to stop it, just unknown to us now."
"Just accept it, and we will leave. It is our fault, but while we cannot stop it, we can fix what it does"
       "No we can't, it's-"
        "We know. But hope."

The other magician nodded, and they resumed the chant, and the figure blew the horn as the flurry of creatures danced around. A black mist was visible in the distance. Screams and shrieks were heard. A large portal opened in the sky. Purple energy emanated from it, and horrible, horrendous creatures emerged. The Earth began to shake violently, and the sky grew dark. Through the darkness, a light shone, and it appeared to be shining on something far away. It became surrounded by blue energy and brown storms of something. Lightning struck everywhere. The magicians continued the chant, and it looked as if they were about to teleport somewhere.

Bestos knew that this had to be some sort of doomsday, so he lunged forward at the magicians.

        "What's happening?!"
    The magicians continued chanting.

"HEY! Tell me what's going on! We have to stop it, whatever it is!"

But the magicians continued chanting, so Bestos charged forward, and right as he hit one of the magicians, they all combined into a ball of light that flew upward extremely quickly, and then disappeared. Bestos' friends stood there, mystified.

Bestos could only see light. But he felt the magician, and furiously beat and punched and kicked. Finally, the ball gave way. and all of them flew through a portal. In the distance, Bestos could see Runeterra, and it was catastrophic. He could barely see the destruction, and for that he was grateful.

"WHAT'S GOING ON?!?!?! ANSWER ME YOU BASTARDS! DID YOU CAUSE THIS?!?!!?!"

The magicians looked at him. In unison, they said.

"The end."

         "What?"
"We made a fatal mistake. We interrupted the balance of the universe. All magic is being forced into a maelstrom of raw power, which might as well end it all. We got away in hope that we can restart."

Bestos covered his face, letting out one, single, silent tear. Then he dove at one of the magicians and punched him in the face over and over and over.

   "HOW DO I STOP IT?!?!?!?!"
   " You can't!"

Bestos backed away, and rubbed his eyes. Barely was Runeterra visible. Even if he couldn't save it, he wanted to be there when Runeterra ended. He dove in the opposite direction in which they were traveling.

He reached Runeterra at last, and all of Valoran was rubble and wreckage. The maelstrom was huge, and he ran towards it. He wanted to do it as his last daredevil act. But he stopped. He didn't want to be a daredevil anymore. He didn't. If he hadn't, then he could've been at home, and died innocently in his sleep. He could've said goodbye. Tears flowing down his face, he charged at the maelstrom.

He wasn't even close when he was sucked up into its power. The magic injured him vigorously, and he was unrecognizable inside. The maelstrom threw him terribly inside itself, slowly disintegrating his body. He thought of his family, the tears still flowing down his face. He wished he could stop it. Reverse all it had done. All of it. Make the magicians pay. He was willing to do anything. And that's when it happened.

His tears flew in a perfect orbit around him. Slowly they formed chains. The maelstrom imploded and formed a huge boulder. The chain and boulder connected, then it became bound to Bestos' arm. Slowly, all of Valoran returned to normal. Except for Bestos. He had a burden. He knew had to bear with it for the good of Runeterra.

Over time Bestos found that nobody had memory of the incident. To help himself deal with this burden, he has joined the League of Legends.

Abilities: (Bestos is a melee champion, and there is a boulder being dragged a distance behind him)

Passive: Burden: The boulder is a burden to Bestos, and he gains 5/10/15 reduced movement speed ( 5 at level 1-6, 10 at level 7-11, and 15 at levels 12-18). It also leaves a trail behind him for 2 seconds that is visible to enemies. But if they follow it they are slowed by 15% + 3 x Level. It is magical, so enemies cannot move through it but allies can, and you can use this to block off enemies. Note that logic does apply here, so you can turn around and the boulder won't teleport randomly, the chain will, but not the boulder until the chain is stretched.

Q: Stone Fist: Bestos' next attack will deal 50/75/100/125/150 + 60% AD bonus physical damage. If the attack kills the enemy, it resets, allowing his next attack to also have the Stone Fist effect. . Cooldown: 9/8.5/8/7.5/7 seconds. Mana cost: 30/35/40/45/50 mana.

W: Reckless Tumble: Bestos recklessly swings the boulder, sending it flying forward, stopping at the first enemy champion it hits (goes through minions and monsters but still dmgs them) dealing 60/120/150/200/250 + 45% AD +35%AP magic damage and stunning the target for 1/1/1.25/1.5/2 seconds. The swing also sends Bestos flying forward, causing him to dash forward half of the distance the boulder travelled. Cooldown: 13/12.25/11.5/11/10 seconds. Mana cost: 60/65/70/75/85 mana.

E: Stone Shield: Bestos moves the stone in front of him, decreasing his movement speed by 50/65/80 ( this is not a percent) and granting a shield in front of him blocking all attacks and abilities for 5 seconds. It only blocks abilities and attacks from the front, not the back, or the sides. During the duration Bestos can attack but cannot cast abilities, summoners, or item actives. Can be recast to stop early. Cooldown: 22/21/20.0/29/18 seconds. Mana cost: 70/75/80/90/100 mana.

R: Unbreakable Chains, Unbreakable Will: Upon activation, Bestos doubles his bonus attack damage (only counting AD from items and runes, not masteries or buffs) and his attacks gain range equal to the distance between him and the boulder. He loses the passive movement speed debuff, and his attacks fling the boulder, placing the trail and thus granting a slow. However he gains a 10% decrease in attack speed. Lasts for 10 seconds. Cooldown: 80/72/64 seconds. Mana cost: 100/100/100 mana.

Starting items: Doran's Shield, Potion, Warding Totem.

Essential items: Trinity Force, Zephyr, Boots of Mobility

Defensive items: Frozen Mallet, Banshee's Veil, Randuin's Omen

Offensive items: Black Cleaver, Ravenous Hydra, Blade of the Ruined King

Hmmm. He seems decent, but the passive seems weird. It allows enemies to pinpoint you?

Yeah i agree, can the enemies see the boulder too or just the trail?

No, unless they have vision of you yourself. ONly the trail is visible, and only for a few seconds.
