##Huge Thanks to Echoing, Arakadia, and The Djinn for all their help and feedback!

#Background Long ago, Tratus was a dragon living in what is now the Kumungu Jungle. He was young, mischievous and enjoyed playing tricks on the local humans and wildlife, much to the dismay of everyone around him. When the world became engulfed in conflict, his home was not exempt. One day everything around him was swept up and destroyed without warning. Humans used magic they didn't fully comprehend in order to destroy one another and secure their own power at great cost to Runeterra as a whole. They called it the Rune Wars. The earth twisted and shattered, the boundaries between dimensions frayed until they tore. The young dragon Tratus was dragged into an isolated pocket of the void, watching what was left of the world he knew crumble through the closing gap. Tratus was imprisoned in the void for centuries. His maturing dragon physiology becoming twisted, his cleverness formerly used on mostly harmless pranks now committed to hunting and killing the ravenous denizens of the void simply to survive another day. He was disfigured both mentally and physically by the constant conflict. He started to hunt for the thrill of it, relishing the terror in the eyes of his prey and anyone with them as they were dragged away into the darkness one by one. One day, a group of ruthless treasure seekers managed to penetrate into the depths of the Kumungu jungle, searching for Rune War relics that they could sell to the highest bidder. Any creature of value was poached, butchered, and packed away. They were discovered by a red brambleback who tore apart the jungle while attempting to chase them down. One treasure hunter turned to a relic they had discovered in order to defend herself, a blade that hummed with ancient magic. It cleaved the weakened barrier between worlds, a wound which was made larger by the raging brambleback smashing the sword out of the woman's hand as it crushed her. Tratus caught a glimpse of light for the first time since he could remember. The ancient creature made his triumphant return to a world that no longer had a place for him. The beings here were unused to the dark, easily frightened, weak. For him it was an all-you-can-eat buffet. The creatures of the forest would refer to this and the havoc that followed as the Kumungu Affair.

Only a single hunter returned from that trip. He babbled incoherently about a whispering monster that dragged his friends into the jungle. Parties that entered the Kumungu stopped returning that after day. The few survivors that could be found always ranted about the same creature, which explorers dubbed "The Corpsetaker."

#Personality Tratus is sadistic and extremely prideful. He enjoys breaking the spirit of his prey before striking the final blow or letting them escape, mentally destroyed, to tell others of their experience. To him, the physical pain his victims endure is secondary to their psychological trauma, particularly their fear. Begging, cries for help, and screams of fear are the reward of a well executed hunt. He appreciates the fear of all creatures, but relishes human suffering most of all due to their role in his imprisonment. He is also clever and patient, waiting for his time to ambush his foes and drag them, screaming, into the dark unknown.

#Kit Tratus is an Skirmisher/Disruptor who's all about creating mayhem among low hp foes and dragging targets away from their friends. He relies heavily on ambush tactics and is weak in drawn out combat. Foes who can crowd control him or who manage to stay on top of him can punish his lack of sustain and strike fear into his heart instead.

##Base Stats Base Attack Damage: 57+2.5 Base Health Points: 580+90 HP5: 0.75 Base Mana: 300+45 MP5: 8 Base Armor: 29+3 Base Magic Resist: 32.1+ 1.25 Base Movement Speed: 350 Attack Range: 150 Tratus' basic attacks are lunging bites and crits are either claw slashes or swings of his tail. His attack pattern is very mouth-centric though.

##Passive: Void-Touched Scales Upon being out of combat for 1 second Tratus begins to fade into Camouflage. Detection range starts as 1000 units and decreases to 600 units over 10/8/6/4 seconds. Upon exiting stealth his next spellcast grants him 10-50 bonus AD for 4 seconds.

##Q: Ruthless Impalement Cooldown: 20/18/16/14/12 seconds Mana Cost: 75/80/85/90/95 Initial Tether/Tongue Range: 750 After a short delay (.5s), Tratus shoots his spear-like tongue in a target direction, embedding it in the first target hit and dealing 100/120/140/160/200 (+ 70% bonus AD) physical damage. Champions hit by his tongue become tethered for 3 seconds.
Tethered targets hit by the edge of the tether range are stunned and are dragged along as long as Tratus continues to move. Tratus cannot issue attack commands whilst dragging a target. If Tratus moves back towards the target, stops moving, or the target is otherwise pushed inward from the outside of tether range, they are no longer stunned. Dragged targets take 3% (+1% per 100 Bonus AD) of their Maximum Health as physical damage every .5 seconds. Tether range decreases to 60/55/50/45/40% of its total range over 3 seconds, pulling dragged champions in with it.

(Tether range decrease begins the moment it hits target champion. If they're right on the edge of tether range then they will start to be pulled. The stun is reapplied every half second that they are against the edge of tether range. )

**NOTE:**Tratus can still change the direction of the spell during the cast time. 3 second drag sounds overpowered on paper, but that will only ever happen if he manages to land his q at max range and immediately starts moving the other way. **

##W: Abyssal Dragonfire Cooldown: 10/9/8/7/6 seconds Mana Cost: 45/50/55/60/65 Range: 500 Angle: 50 Degrees Tratus spits a blast of void energy from his mouth in a cone in the target direction, slowing enemies hit by 15/20/25/30/35% for 3 seconds and dealing _ 75/105/135/165/195 (+50% Bonus AD)_ Magic Damage. Abyssal Dragonfire's cooldown is reduced by 1 second for each 20% of missing health on the lowest %HP champion or large/epic monster hit.

##E: Streamlined Rush Cooldown: 16/14/12/10/8 Mana Cost: 70 at all ranks Range: 300 units Tratus leaps in the target direction. If he has stunned a target with his Q, or if this leap causes them to become stunned then they are yanked along with him. Upon casting this spell Tratus leaves a path of void-tainted fire behind him for 3 seconds, dealing 35/50/65/80/95 (+25% Bonus AD) Physical Damage per second to enemies that pass over it. Void fire lingers for 2 seconds. Kills and assists against enemy champions reset this spell's cooldown.

##R: Corpsetaker Cooldown: 100/80/60 Mana Cost: 100/125/150 PASSIVE: Passing through brush grants Tratus 20% bonus movement speed that persists for 1 second after exiting.
ACTIVE: Can only be cast if tratus is dragging a champion with Ruthless Impalement. Tratus quickly retracts his tongue and takes a bite of his target, dealing 100/200/300+ 10% of the targets missing health (+2% per 100 AD) True Damage. Executing a target in this way permanently increases the Bonus AD granted by his passive by 5, up to a maximum of 100 Bonus AD on spellcast.

#Playing as Tratus Tratus loves to build physical damage and armor pen. As a laner he must be cautious not to push too far, since his dash is on a long cooldown early and he is not effective at stopping ganks. His opposing laner will want to always keep an eye out for when he casts his Q, lest they find themselves dragged under his turret. If you manage to stay within the bounds of his tether he is forced to try and fight you or be pummeled into oblivion. Sticky fighters like Jax, fiora, tryndamere, and Darius will have a major advantage in lane against him. Where Tratus truly shines is the jungle. There's nothing he loves more than stealthing into a lane and dragging his helpless opponents to his team. If Tratus can properly get the jump on an isolated target with a max range Q then once they get free their best bet is to try and run away... if they can manage to escape him. He truly shines against foes who have already been weakened, being able to cast his w and e much more frequently against low-hp enemy teams. He'll like items like item 1400 item 3812 item 3134 item 3071 item 3077 item 3026 and typically an item packing some resists if he finds himself getting blown up a lot.

#Appearance Tratus' time in the void has twisted him almost beyond recognition. He retains the basics of his dragon form, front legs as wings, fangs, horns, tail, the works. However the influence of the energies of the void during his maturation changed him. He's more monster than dragon now. Flesh leaking void magic is covered in twisted, spiky scales. They are all backwards-facing, giving him a streamlined appearance, but when he is dragging a champion they will stick out to give him a more spiky, frightening appearance. He was inspired by the unreleased champion Omen, Otachi from Pacific Rim, Chameleos from Monster Hunter, and Zedus from Gamera the Brave. I'll post some sketches of him tomorrow. great concept all around a fairly interesting champion and reminds me a little of omen with the reptile/dragon as well as a spiked void creature ( i dont know if you saw omen and decided to remake him but this is really good if thats what you were going for)

Hey Grau! Not much to say but here's your review!:

Upon being out of combat for 1 second Tratus begins to fade into Camouflage. Detection range starts as 1000 units and decreases to 500 units over 10/8/6/4 seconds. Upon exiting stealth his next spellcast grants him 10-50 bonus AD for 4 seconds.

Okay so at first glance this is a weaker Evelynn passive that also gives him a window of power. But thats a good thing. Evelynn's passive takes up a huge amount of her power budget and this passive is way more fair while staying relevant throughout the game. I like this and its fitting, I wouldn't change it except for one thing which would be to make the bonus AD either a % scaling or some non-level scaling damage buff. The fact that a full tank Tratus (love the name by the way) and a full damage Tratus will benefit from the bonus AD exactly the same amount isn't a good thing. You do not want to design someone who could build like the infamous "tankko".

Q: Ruthless Impalement Cooldown: 20/18/16/14/12 seconds Mana Cost: 75/80/85/90/95 Initial Tether/Tongue Range: 750 After a short delay (.5s), Tratus shoots his spear-like tongue in a target direction, embedding it in the first target hit and dealing 100/120/140/160/200 (+ 70% bonus AD) physical damage. Champions hit by his tongue become tethered for 3 seconds. This tether cannot be broken. Targets hit by the edge of the tether range become entangled and are dragged along as long as Tratus continues to move. Tratus cannot issue attack commands whilst dragging a target. If Tratus moves back towards the target, stops moving, or the target is otherwise pushed inward from the outside of tether range, they are no longer entangled. Entangled targets take 3% (+1% per 100 Bonus AD) of their Maximum Health as physical damage every .5 seconds while they are dragged. Tether range decreases to 60/55/50/45/40% of its total range over 3 seconds, pulling dragged champions in with it

First a question, does this ability lock you out of spells as well? Locking his ability to attack you doesn't seem like a very good thing for an assassin who wants to get in and do his job quick. I like this ability a lot, we have nothing like it which is surprising, and I can clearly picture how it would fit in game. My main problem would be if this spell does lock you out of casting other things. Although I do have a few questions on functionality:

  • Is the "end of the tether" mean enemies who get near the embedded target or who walk near any part of the tether? The whole entangled target business seems a bit confusing.
  • Does % maximum health fit on a slayer type of champion? Seems like that would encourage a tankier build.
  • Not so much a question but I think the way the tether can be broken is really awkward and confusing.

W: Abyssal Dragonfire Cooldown: 10/9/8/7/6 seconds Mana Cost: 45/50/55/60/65 Range: 500 Angle: 50 Degrees Tratus spits a blast of void energy from his mouth in a cone in the target direction, slowing enemies hit by 15/20/25/30/35% for 3 seconds and burning the target for 75/105/135/165/195 (+50% Bonus AD) Magic Damage over the duration. Abyssal Dragonfire's cooldown is reduced by 1 second for each 20% of missing health on the lowest %HP champion or large/epic monster hit.

Simple but it sounds really cool and satisfying. I like the cooldown reduction mechanic, never seen something like that. But I'm confused as to why your giving a supposedly assassin/slayer/bruiser character who is supposed to suck at drawn out combat DoT. DoT usually means you want the fight to last as long as possible and you don't have burst. So far he has 2 abilities that deal DoT. Otherwise I love this ability, just seems real odd to put on a bursty bruiser, especially if the DoT isn't % missing health or something like that.

E: Streamlined Rush Cooldown: 16/14/12/10/8 Mana Cost: 70 at all ranks Range: 300 units Tratus leaps in the target direction. If he has entangled a target with his Q, or if this leap causes them to become entangled then they are yanked along with him. He leaves behind a path of tainted earth that persists for 3 seconds, dealing 100/120/140/160/180 (+70% Bonus AD) Physical Damage over the duration. Kills and assists against enemy champions reset this spell's cooldown.

This ability has some awesome synergy, which is very important for assassins, and some cool pick potential. I love the name, wordy ability names are my thing, and for a dragon this is super cool. All our current dragon champions are immobile most of the time. I have two concerns:

  • MORE DoT? I'm starting to think this is a sustained damage dealing tanky bruiser.
  • With % max health damage in his kit, some great pick potential via displacements, mobility, and flat AD buffs I could see Tratus building more defense than you would intend. Although with all the bonus ad scalings in his kit, that shouldn't be a problem. I'd just keep an eye on it.

I like the reset a lot. Although currently Tratus doesn't have much mobility, a 300 range jump isn't much.

R: Corpsetaker Cooldown: 100/80/60 Mana Cost: 100/125/150 PASSIVE: Passing through brush grants Tratus 20% bonus movement speed that persists for 1 second after exiting. ACTIVE: Can only be cast if tratus has a champion entangled.

Okay this is one bad ass ultimate. Awesome job on designing it, I love it and its super thematic. It's not super snowbally either, the passive bonus it offers just makes it all the more satisfying to use. I don't have anything to say about this except that this guy is more a duelist than an assassin imo due to the ability to kill tankier foes very well via his % health damage. Which isn't bad, it's just a little different than what you intended.

Overall, I really like Tratus. The name, the theme, the ult, the synergy and the mechanics aren't all overly complex and gamebreaking but their unique, interesting, and satisfying as hell. Sure he'd need some tweaking, but I would love a champion like Tratus in the game. Shyvana is cool but I don't feel as fierce, intellegent, prideful, and/or deceptive as dragons normally are. Of course Shyvana isn't a normal dragon, and Sol doesn't fill the role Tratus does, so having the Corpsetaker in game would be super sick. Oh and rad drawing, I have a hard time getting my drawings as clean and defined as yours is.

I hope my feedback helps and good luck!
