New item please.

So I have been playing alot of support for some time. And I have been playing Pyke support.. Pyke is realy weak agaist magic and I have been trying to protect my ADC from a Zoe but she keeps one shoting me :l Maybe an item that gives alot of Magic Resist would be nice for supports that is weak agaist Magic.. Idk if there is some secret way to get alot of Magic Resist while also have space enough for other items in the inventory.. Something like would be realy nice if they make so it does not give ability power but something else (with the Magic Resist)<3 :D

Is this a good Idea or?

yea. we do need more MR items.

its sad that in my item builds, if i make a box for "armor" items. i can find tons of stuff to fit a champ to put in there, to use in so many different situations.

but in the box i make for "magic resit" items... its like "hmmm... um.... yea.... well, not to many options here...."

item 3111 - All champions

item 3140 - All champions (situational)

item 3028 item 3174 item 3222 - Enchanters

item 3155 item 3156 item 3139 - AD (any type, primarily non-marksmen and non-juggernaut)

item 3091 - On-hit champions

item 3065 - Nearly anyone, only unviable if no possible source of healing exists for the buyer. Massively under-appreciated item, especially with the amount of sustain in runes.

item 3194 - Tanks and juggernauts, slightly situational

item 3001 - Tanks and low-range AP champions, mana champs only

item 3102 - high-range AP champions

item 3190 - Supports and tanks, Pyke excluded (ha)

item 3512 - Tanks and splitpushers

item 3193 - Tanks and some juggernauts

item 1057 - ANYONE. You can just sit on it, 100% gold-efficient.

As Pyke, you could buy item 3155 item 3111 item 3065 . Visage works very well with your passive.

If you buy item 3020 it kinda slows down your roaming and maybe makes that 15 secends extreamly bad for you coming late. And yes if you buy the other things it might be good sometimes but if you fight a team with like 3 AP and 2 AD it's gonna be hard for you to get enough space like if you go for your build: item 3156 item 3065 item 3020 and then a supp item. then you only have enough space for one more item where u normaly take item 3026 .

but when you play agaist AD then you can buy item 3110 and still have alot of space left.

And yes you can always go for many defferint Magic Resist items but what do you do when their team also have strong AD champions.. Then somthing like would be op if you where using magic but AD Support champions have no use for the AP you get from - Just feal like they need a support item that can help Pyke, Braum and other champions like that.

Braum has access to item 3190 .

As for Pyke... If you just wanted to rush ~100 bonus MR and still build item 3117 like with item 3110 , you could go item 3065 item 1057 . Yeah it’s a couple item 1036 worth of extra gold and has 10% less CDR, but you’re also getting THREE Longswords’ worth of AD, and the regen amp passive is effective versus all types of damage, not just magic.

The only real issue would be mana. I suppose you could upgrade item 1057 into item 3001 for infinite mana, more CDR, and slot efficiency. Might be worth considering, especially if you have one or two strong sources of magic damage on your team. If there’s one thing tank Pyke is good at, it’s being where he needs to be in a fight. The Abyssal passive synergizes with that.
