Buying a champion after Grade

If you try one of the free champions and get S+ then decides to buy the champion will it then show it as "Seasons Highest Grade: S+" or still just say N/A ??

It should show up as N/A. I tried out Xerath when he was free about two weeks ago and just unlocked him, my highest grade as him doesn't show.
