Lore Rex was the champion of his village and no man could match his strength and skill. He had grown bored of his village and decided to venture out and find new challenges. he left his village and found life to be much more exciting outside his village. He soon ran across a very strong man by the name of Braum. He quickly Challenged Braum to a duel but soon found his sword was no match for Braums shield as it broke into pieces on his shield. Braum let out a hearty chuckle and told Rex to come back when he had a sword fit for a man of your strength. Rex was determined to find a suitable sword for himself. He tried sword after sword but all would break under his strength. Finally he heard of a legendary sword that was said to be unbreakably but it was cursed and if it did not deem the wielder worthy it would kill the wielder. Rex immediately set out to find this sword. he fought his way up a mountain and there was the sword with countless dead bodies littering the ground. He walked up to the sword and griped it and instanly felt pain and his life force was being stolen. Rex heard the blade, "what makes you think you can wield me". He replied" i wish to figh the trongest foes so i need the strongest weapon". The blade deemed him worthy to be its wielder on the condition strong foes never stop coming. with his new sword he wish to challenge Braum and all other strong opponents on the field of justice. He set forth for the league of legends.

**Overview ** I see Rex either as a Support or a a top laner. He is focused more on utility and tankyness, rather then base damage and raw force. I see him crippling AD Carries and being adept at peel. his lore has some holes i know but was kind of a spur of the moment thought Tell me what you guys think Is he weak, strong, or balanced?

That W could end up being pretty broken, a 650 range targeted dash coupled with CC on what appears to be a melee ADC is a nightmare to balance.

Yeah I though that might be a little bit to strong of an ability. Too much range and cc. So should I get rid of the W or just nerf it.

If you make it an untargeted dash and change it to soft CC like a slow it might work a lot better. This also means the mobility from it is not gated by needing vision of a target and it has the potential to affect grouped enemies without the inherent toxicity of certain targeted effects.

So what if i made it a dash and at the end of the dash he would slow enemies that were close to him and gives movement speed to ally's that are close. And nerf the range to 4 to 5 hundred

That would work a lot better, though the dashing to allies thing doesn't really seem to fit the kit, that would be more of a support utility spell, just having the dash and slow would be fine, about 450 units should be a good distance to start with.

I actually saw this guy more as a utility/tanky top laner with some damage splashed in with his kit. he has a displacement and slows out the ass but i can see now how this kit could also be a melee adc. if i changed it to more a mellee adc style i would change his passive and yeah take away the movement speed buff he gives to ally's. i would change his passive to something like: the blade can sense an opponent getting weaker and weaker and punishes them for it doing 4% of their missing health as extra damage.

could work, might be a bit too similar to Zeds passive though, and 4% could be a bit much if you factor in attack speed.

Looks good other than his w. 1.5 second stun with a 9 second cd. If build with cdr it would be a 5.4 second cd at 40% cdr. If he w's to an enemy and then when the stun is over he q's by the time his q has hit every time due to the slow he can just stun them again. Then if they're still alive he just e's them with it's huge base damage and high scaling. However i don't expect him to have cdr unless he is built with AP because of his ult. Nasus ult does 1% max hp for every 100 ap and the aoe range on his ult is half that of rex's.

Summary: Lower the duration of the stun. Change the base damage on his e or the scaling. Reduce the range on his ult and raise it to at least 1% for 100 ap

Yeah I though I might have set the scaling to high to for the base damage he gets on his E. Change the ad scaling to maybe .4 or .3. I'm thinking of changing his W to a 13 second cool down at all ranks and a 1 second stun and maybe nerf the range down to 600. I also over shot on his ult range. I wanted it to be smaller than a maokai ulti not the same. So drop his ulti range to about 350 and i think it is much better.

This concept is much to similar to Aatrox. AA modifier involving sustain/damage, gap close with cc and the ultimate is almost an entire copy. E is the only move somewhat unique to him. The concepts are even similar.

I like the idea of his sword "feeding" on people. Similar to Kisame in Naruto. Maybe looking at taking that unique concept and applying it to the rest of his kit. Some ideas: Passive: Rex's blade preys on the weak, dealing x% more damage on targets below X% health. (This goes with the blade only choosing Rex because of his strength) Ultimate: Rex's blade thirsts for blood stealing enemies movement speed in x radius and increasing his by the total stolen from all champions. Also causing his attacks to do 5% current health damage to each champion he hits and healing him for that amount. (Would apply to abilities as well).

Wow i didn't even think about how similar he was with Aatrox. Lets change the passive to Rex's blade preys on the weak dealing 2% of his current health as bonus damage on his autos and healing him for the same amount.

Change the ult to: Rex's blade thirsts for blood stealing 10/15/20% move speed from enemy champs in a 350 range and tripling his passive for x amount of seconds ( not sure on the time frame)

Chang the W to : Rex channels for 1 seconds to gather his strength and then lunges forward with all his might. He will go the full distance and any enemy champions he hits will be knocked to the side . Can go over walls. Can be stopped by cc. Maybe about 650 range.

Change the Q to: Rex lets his blade feed on his own strength causing his next auto to do 20/30/40/50/60 (+1.1 ad) damage and cause the target to bleed for 20/30/40/50/60 (+.3 ad). auto attack reset

This seems better to me. He has an auto attack reset which I know isn't very original but i think it helps to make it a more solid move set. Samehada was my favorite sword out of the 7 swordsmen. I just like the idea of a sword with its own agenda and picks its own wielder. I know his water style didn't get Incorporated into the build but Kisame was the inspiration behind the sword.
