This would make my dreams come true <3

Highlights: " Nero uses stamina and gains it back from autos; his autos are very slow but powerful, he can copy his enemy's ultimate but use it in a less powerful way, he can grasp onto his enemy and follow them, he excells at 1v1s but is poor in teamfights, he is very resistant to damage, but very low HP"

Lore Nero once was a great and powerful ruler of Demacia in the olden times. He ruled with tyranny and without mercy. Long story short, the people of Demacia were getting tired of his tyranny, but they could not stop his military officials due to their fierce combat skills. So they spoke with a well known sorceress, Sarib, who lives in the Marshes. Sarib was not happy with the proposal the Demacians gave her, instead she wanted a price much greater than what they asked; she wanted his soul. Not to give too many details, she eventually cursed Nero with one of the spirits that lived in her. Nero was cursed to kneel before all others, and in doing so, the curse forced him to mimic those he faced. Nero could not bear to kneel before anyone else, so he ran to the jungles of Kumungu where he found a deep cave to reside in. There he spent his nights in silence and in solitude. When Nero could no longer last, he went out the caves and found Rumble on one of his exploration missions. There he befriended Rumble in servitude as he showed Nero how to harvest the exotic fruits of the jungle. On one of the nights, Rumble even showed Nero some of his fighting moves, because it was clear to him that his fighting experience was limited and Nero would need to fend off the wild beasts.

Theme Nero is a champion that mimics the champion he faces. If there is more than one champion that faces him, he becomes confused/vulnerable.

Role He is a terribly slow ranged auto attacker, but heavy hitting once he finally gets his auto out. He lays out his tankiness with his sustain damage, but gives up burst and mobility, as well as his team fighting. He is meant to be kind of trolly because he has low max hp, but he doesn't really lose much. Meaning that he is extremely weak to true damage.

Passive Pledge item 2053

  1. Nero passively gains +3.5 armor or magic resist per level depending upon who he is facing at the moment and their highest damage stat. The range on it isn't too big, but not too small.
  2. But whenever Nero faces more than one opponent, he loses -3.5 magic resist, armor, and ability power.
  3. He uses stamina as a resource bar. He can only gain stamina back from auto attacking. His full stamina bar is 20 stamina, and each auto on a champion grants 10 stamina, while hitting a creep grants 1 stamina.
  4. Any max HP he gains (from items or other) is converted instead to cooldown reduction, and cooldown reduction (from items) is instead converted to little bit of magic resist and armor.

Auto Attack It looks just like a Malzahar auto attack, but it's green, and takes very long to finish. It does very strong damage scaling off of AP and slightly off of armor and magic resist.

Q Pester item 3185 Cost: 2 Stamina Cooldown: 5/4.5/4/3.5/3 seconds Nero summons a pin missile in a target location. It has 1.5 times the range of a Ryze Q, but the hitbox is very, very precise. It's on a 3 second cooldown at level 18. It does light - moderate damage. AP scaling.

W Grasp item 3137 Cost: 10 stamina Cooldown: 60/50/40 seconds Nero holds onto an enemy champion for 4 seconds using the spirit's arms and follows them statically, unable to move otherwise. If the enemy flashes, Nero will still be grasping at the same distance as expected. Nero can use all abilities of his while grasped, but if the ability is a mobility/ movement ability (Allegiance cast on Ahri, or Kassadin), then the ability will go as usual, but you will stay in the same spot; grasped, until the grasp is finished.

  • Nero can be interrupted by other champions, but not by the champion he is grasping (mimicking). The range is about a 75% of a Ryze Q.

E Pentance Cost: 2 stamina per seconds Cooldown: 30 seconds Nero releases wicked souls onto an enemy champion that does massive damage depending on how much stamina he has. Nero can auto attack as the ability is completing. At full stamina, the ability will channel for 10 seconds (not including extended time granted for autos that replenish stamina) taking 2 stamina per second. AP scaling. As long as Nero is within range, Pentance will target and damage the champion until out of range. Nero can move freely and cast freely during it. The range is about a Ryze Q range.

R Allegiance item 3046 Cost: 20 stamina Cooldown: 80% of the owner's cooldown

  • The initial and subsequent Allegiance changes is on a 120s cd to change the ability Nero copies the ultimate ability of the champion he selects with all of its effects, but the AP damage is -50%, the CC is -50% and the AD damage is -25% of the scaling on the ability (omg Veigar ultimate, pls rito have mercy).

Gameplay Nero tries to stay away from group fights as much as possible, unless there is only one enemy. Nero is extremely efficient as setting up ganks, but he has to be careful as to when he uses Grasp, as he is not only slow and immobile, but the enemy could lead him into a deep trap. If Nero's team can set up wards in the enemy jungle, Nero can leave top lane to go destroy the enemy jungler, but he has to be careful that the enemy top laner isn't keen on his position to come help. Mid-Late game if Nero can pick off a lone enemy with a teammate, his team will gain a great advantage. He isn't great at objectives because of his weakness, but his 1v1 potential is immense. And he is very versatile with his ultimate.

Personality Nero turned into this kind of annoying follower. He reminds me of the "Adoring Fan" from ElderScrolls Oblivion. He's a cross between the Adoring Fan, the puppet from The Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess, and Tingle from The Legend of Zelda. He makes the "Ho-ooo" high pitched noise relatively frequently, and kind of an annoying higher toned laugh "Hehehehe." He one of those characters that you're burdened by. He could even be Nero, the burden. He's "That" champion. Honestly I could do the voice acting for him because my vision sits perfectly with him. Just think mostly of Tingle for personality, the puppet for his body type, and the adoring fan for how stalky he can be! Think how cool that would be!

Items item 3116 He has no CC item 3143 item 3102 Even if someone does try to interrupt his grasp, only another enemy can do that, but banshees helps try and prevent that ;)

Strong Against Leblanc She can't run away because he has grasp. She tries to burst him down but cannot because of how tankiness if he builds Magic Resist correctly. Weak Against Irelia She's not only tanky and sustain damage, but she also does true damage. And her ultimate won't be much a use to Nero.

Riot Games, if you liked this, please be sure to let me know in the comments, or shoot me an email. Because if this was good, I'd love to share other ideas I have, as well as an excellent idea on Yorick's rework and how he should be played more like a puppeteer who actually takes damage when his "puppet" aka souls take damage.

Thanks for reading

Why would you want anybody to be "poor" in team fights? i understand it for the assassin role, who take out a squishy and either die or have to escape, but for this guy? His ultimate sounds useless late game. If he becomes confused and cant steal an ult from somebody, then what does he bring to the table late game, and especially since his damage on that ult is heavily reduced. Also, if he converts Bonus HP to CDR, and Bonus CDR into a tiny bit of resistances, then how will he become tanky in any way? Runes, and masteries cant tank you up worth anything. He also could never successfully gank a bot lane. He couldn't counter gank, and he couldn't team fight. All he really can do is 1v1, Assassinate single, ALONE, targets, and split push. i love the idea, but the logic isn't sound behind his core ability set.
