Harsher penalties for afks, trolls, and the like.
How we identify them is irrelevant. So will unfortunately will have the same margin for error as normal ranked queue.
Allow people to play with like minded folks who are tired of hearing, "It's just a game"

Ranked is important but I disagree somewhat. It IS just a game. After a very frustrating toxic game, 5 minutes later it won't affect you. Ever. Now that's no excuse to just give up a game that your teammates still want to continue. It doesn't excuse afk's or trolling. But you gotta be careful not to let this affect you too much. Because at the end of the day it is just a game. When you're on your death bed, you're not going to be thinking about that one game in LoL that you had that really bothered you or really liked. In about 20 years you prob will just barely remember this game.
i dig what ur getting at bro the most frustrating thing for me as a bronze player is getting all the way to bronze 2 or 1 then have a string of player who rage quit or afk 15 mins in thus shooting me back down to b4 also that being said im in bronze cuz i deserve to be not gunna say that im too god for bronze but these aspects make it very frustrating and when ur putting time and effort into getting out of a league because you enjoy a game or maybe one day would like to play lcs and also i say if your a pro this is no longer a game its ur life but these problems dont relate to them so that points mute but in the end we need a way to punish afks or rage quitters more so rage quitters i can understand a comp crash shit happens but to go and just quit because ur losing is just childinsh and u shouldnt rank anyway so id say that the punishment for too many leaves should be the loss of ranked play be leint and give chances but just take away ranked play from the toxic fucksraked should be held to a standard of good conduct and fair games if i want some cheese shit ill play aram or a norm
The problem is that this is what Ranked is already supposed to be. It currently does have pretty strict penalties for AFKing and trolling, including kicking you out of Ranked for several games in addition to normal penalties (to my knowledge, at least).
If you implement your solution you don't do much other than fracture the Ranked player base. There's currently "Normal" and "Ranked" as game options -- creating "Normal" and "Ranked" and "Serious Ranked" won't do much other than have everyone playing Ranked switch to Serious Ranked, as that will be the "real" Ranked mode. You'll still get AFKs and trolls and the like -- they'll just travel to the new mode.
