Champion Concept, needs name
So I always thought there should be some more Shurima in League. I don't see much influence and it could do good with a champion in my opinion. I always wanted it to be a four armed Egyptian kind of thing that uses brute force to influence the battlefield. He combines cc and some mobility to kill champions and be a nuisance, if not a deadly threat. He builds full tank usually with black cleaver, kind of like a Darius almost. I thought that some giant stone bulwark that can do things like that would sound like a lot of fun to play and would even probably be fun to play against. This champion is a good teamfighter and also a good duelist if in the right situation. REMEMBER, this can all be subject to change and I will take suggestions to change. I don't have much else to say, just it's really cool to imagine his abilities. So let's get into the abilities: Passive: Shuriman Rage(should be changed probably) - A rage bar that builds up as you damage champions and slower while you damage minions. Rage does not go away unless out of combat for a longer time than most rage based champions, and dissipates slower than rage based champions. Once you have max rage, you can cast an ult enhanced ability for free. (w might be a problem, will address in ult notes because surprises). Q: (insert name here) - An auto attack reset that roots the enemy for a short time, say .3 seconds and has a short cooldown, say 2.5 seconds. Increases root duration and decreases cooldown by level. It doesn't hit very hard, has an ad scaling and has a small health scaling on it for more damage while building tank. This is used to damage the enemy and continue to fight. Not much else to say about this, I thought of this as a filler ability that'll be there for raw damage output and a little cc, as most champions' Q's are. W: (another insert name here) - A medium to long range leap that takes a long time to land when casted. Like maybe 1.5 seconds to land after casting or something like that. Upon landing it deals execute damage(because you're crushing them under your massive stone body) and a base damage. This is a hard hitter, but it's also just a plain gap closer. Casting q during the jump makes the q do a little more damage, have it in an area around you, slightly larger than the jump area damage itself and it roots for a little longer, like .5 seconds or something like that. This gives this guy some area utility to teamfight and be an actual threat to be around so you can't just kite him and kill him. I thought this ability would give him some mobility to get around the battlefield, and some uniqueness to come... E: (insert name here) - This one I find really fun. The champion does 4 punches over 1.4 seconds in a designated direction. You can move while doing this at normal movespeed and the direction cannot be changed. It's kind of like a mini lucian ult. I thought the range might be around Maokai root range with a little more added. This slows on each hit for like .2 seconds for about 35% on hit so you can escape from it easier. This pushes minions out of the way(probably not a good idea). I thought this was his main damage thing and he hits his hardest with this ability outside of his ult. This gives him some cc and it's a chaser and slightly a gap closer in lane because of the slow. This ability would be so much fun to use in lane for me and I thought others would think it would be great to incorporate a mechanic from another champion into a completely different one. This scales well with AD. R: Hand of Shurima - This is the cool stuff about this guy's kit. This is a grab ability that grabs the enemy champions and enhances your basic abilities to do different things. This does a medium amount of base damage and a tiny bit of scaling. This is a relatively low cooldown. I thought about it and it should be a skillshot so you can't just use w to get into range then point and click onto an enemy. During the ult skillshot and a short time after you grab the enemy champion(enemy champion invulnerable for the time being grabbed so it's not free cc, this can change also), like .5 or 1 second for the grabbing part, if you press an ability, it alters it to a stronger ability. If you don't press an ability in the time you automatically use your q ability. So the enhanced abilities are as follows: Enhanced Q: The q hits twice for more damage each hit and stuns for 1.75 seconds instead of rooting. This applies a knockback to all enemy champions in a large radius around him, like about 600 units maybe. This ability excels at isolating in teamfights. This one is more teamfight-oriented, and laning with it isn't really the best, but it's really good if you put them in a bad spot with it. Enhanced W: The w has shorter range, but you take the enemy champion with you wherever you go. It loses its execute damage though, because you aren't smashing them anymore, you're jumping with them. This is your middle ground ult enhancement, good for laning and possibly 1v1ing, and teamfights to disrupt an enemy and put them in a bad spot. The enemy champion can attack you and the jump time is shortened. This ability can be flashed out of immediately after you land so it can have a less strong cc effect, but instead a powerful dispositioning effect. It's good for 1v1ing because you get to place them where you want them to fight you, so you can take them over walls where their team cannot help them immediately. Enhanced E: You throw the enemy champion in front of you (about half the distance of your E punches) and the e gets enhanced to 6 hits (could be more) over 1.4 seconds and applies the same slow. This gains execute damage, lost from the W, so you don't have everything on your W. This is your best 1v1 tool, as it's just raw damage for you to hit your enemy with. The execute damage is nice as well which adds to your damage. This is not as good for a teamfight, but it can be used to burst down a target easier in a teamfight. This should be used in lane more often than the other abilities, as it is the damage portion of your ult. To wrap it up, this guy is a tanky bruiser that can fight easily. If he had a category, he would be a Juggernaut, like the disruptive Juggernaut. He's my kind of champion and possibly other peoples' kind of champion. I would love to see the grab ability implemented because in the development of Vi, they had a very similar ult ability, where you point and click and are able to choose from 3 different ult effects. This was scrapped because the abilities were similar and the best one statistically would be chosen over the others and it would just be a regular ult. This champion's ult, I believe, should grant versatility in his abilities and you should choose the ult based on what the enemy champion(s) are going to do. I thought of him as a versatile champion that could adapt to different needs where you need them in a teamfight, and as a Shuriman character, would bring out what I like best in League: Shurima. Reply with suggestions and feedback, comments questions whatnot. I'll keep this open and try and keep you guys posted.
