Monos The symbiotic swarm [CHAMPION CONCEPT](Eng-Ita)

Ladies and gentlemen, streamer and casul, welcome to the presentation of a new champion created by the award winning company Whiteface & Co. If you have observed recently (or years ago) the Void has no champion specially made for the support role! Outrageus ! So I myself decided to make one of my own. I created Monos before Kayn's release (along with another champ I will publish shortly) so the story is based on the old version of the Void. Since I do not want to adapt it (which could be done), Lets pretend it's okay. GG

Monos the Symbiotic Swarm

Among the most dangerous attacks on shurima empire by the creatures of the void, there cant be mentioned Mak Gad, that in ancient shurimans means "the starver". The threat appeared centuries ago from a fracture in relity in a anonymus location of the empire rich in agricultural fields, exactly in the period of the harvest, managing to grow undisturbed. Each day that passed someone disappeared, at first just one man, then two, then three until an entire village, included cattle and vegetation, disappeared in the time of a night. From that day, there were numerous spottings of a great black cloud in the whole north-west of the empire, and nothing was left alive in its trail. The army had no chance of stopping the cloud, since it moved fast and its attacks were swift as a blink of the eye. The only thing they discovered was a swarm of void bugs.

As such, the emperor was forced to evacuate all the inhabitants of the zone and leave the harvest, preparing a strategy to fight the swarm. Strategy that had to be used few weeks later. In fact, exhausted every source of sustain, the swarm decided to reach the closer one, a city filled with refugees and supplies to mantain them, Shurima! The army tried numerous attacks on the swarm with incendiary arrows and hay bales covered in pitch, but the damage inflicted was irrilevant and ended in nothing but a waste of brave men. At last, the swarm reached the capital, hovering on the city enjoying the terror of the popoulation. At that point the emperor, in full battle armour, appeared on the palace balcony, and shouted "Turn back to the Void, vile insects, before my wrath shall be upon you!" After hearing those words, the gigantic group of bugs started to fidget, creating a sound similar to a laugh, and then some words -The only thing upon anything is my hunger...and your end!".

With that being said, the swarm laucnhed itself on the city and the emperor plan came in action. Using his enchanter powers, plenty of buildings were modified and turned into amplifiers so that a great sheet of light could be created. This arcane creaton was used to quickly envelop the swarm, holding it in place. After this show of power, the emperor, proteted by magic, directed himself to the center of the swam. "Naive human" said the swarm "How long you think you can keep us bonded?". "The time it needs." The emperor drew from a sack a purple sphere big as a melon-"This ancient artifact is the eye of Vir Moga, a Void invader killed decades ago its eye allowed it to see trough realities. But i can do better."

The emperor infused his magic in the spehere from which a passage in the void was created that started to suck in the swarm and emperor himself. In few minutes the threat was gone and the nation saved.Great feasts were organized but the disappearence of their saviour saddened the whole empire. Hence was organized the greatest and most majestic funeral ever seen in Shurima, in honor of the greatest emperor there ever was, is or will be. Even if Shurima survived, the damage caused by the swarm to the cultivation were staggering. The empire lost half of its whole harvest and the famine that followed brought a civil war that out the empire on iys knees for over twenty years. It was in this period that the name "Mak Gad" was forged. Shurimans never knew the real end of their emperor, everyone tought he died a hero....but it didnt end exactly this way.

The swarm and the emperor ended in a endless wasteland in the Void -"What have you done!?- the swam vibrated, throwing towards the human droves of insects made to inflict pain trough their bites without killing. "I sent you to the greatest desert of the void i knew. You wont find anything to feed on. It's the same ending you would have reached once Shurima was gone. You will starve!"

"But you have the stone" Said the swarm referring to the eye of Vir Moga "you can bring us back!"

The emperor let out a booming laughter "Impossible! It takes a titanic amount of energy, amount i could never store before starving myself. And even if i could somehow accumulate it, i'd never bring a plague like you in my empire!". After few moments of pondering the swarm exclamied "Very Well" and launched itself on the human. The smaller insects started to getting beneath his flesh by biting, while the bigger ones used every orefice avaible. The pain brought the emperor on the ground, he tried to scream, but he was chocking on those creatures. Spasms and twitches moved the body until he lost control over it. <How are you called, human?> said a voice in his head. The emperor kept silent. <Ahahahahah. No need for you to answer. I already know everything that's inside your mind....emperor Monos. You know, you were right. With our system, we wouldnt have survived for long. We re grateful for griving us the inspiration to resolve our issue. We will cannibalize ourselves if we have to, but we shall survive this desert. And you too will survive....by being part of us. We'll take possession of your body, learning how to manipluate it and cohabit without killing the host. We will exploit your knowledge on the eye of Vir Moga to find a breach that will bring us back into your empire...>

Apppearence

While i was writing the lore i tought that Monos could have the appearence not of a swarm in humanoid form (like in the picture) but instead that it controlled the body of the emperor to such a point that it can frelly modify it at its will. anyway, back to the base idea.(maybe i upload an artwork for this idea)

Monos is a swarm of insects that took humanoid features (picture. Perhaps it walks on fake legs)... It wears (well, actually carry) parts of a soldier coat of arms after returning to Shurima, a helmmet with a cape, an armlet and maybe something more. The equipment it "waers" was left abandoned after Shurima's Fall, during Xerath failed ascension, so it is rusty and worn-out. It brings with itself the eye of Vir Moga, using it as a fake eye for its head. Its AA are melee (since it is specialized in symbiosis it has a number of devourer bugs limited used for its Q) and should carry a shuriman weapin (a spear, a sword, a kopesh).

Skills (all number are for demonstartion only)

Passive-Progressive symbiosis Every 2 mins passed near an allied champion give monos and its ally a "symbiosis" stack. Stacks increases base statistics (AA vel, damage, movment speed..) of 1.2% up to 10 stacks. Stacks have effetct as long as Monos is nearby its allies. If monos stray away the effect last for 5 seconds. Monos sums all the nearby allies stacks, example: Ashe 10 stacks+Garen 3 stacks+ Lux 4 stacks=17 stacks for Monos.

Stacks are accumluated with time but the timer isnt resetted when Monos gets away. If for instance you stay near for 30 seconds and then leave, when you ll come back the timer will be a 30 seconds. Stacks timer start at 2.00 minutes from the beginning of the match.

Passive2- the eye of Vir Moga (i tought about this later and maybe it shouldnt be given) The eye empowers the wards placed by Monos taking 1 HP from it but giving the wards true vision alternatevly When you place a ward Monos reveal a huge area in front of it with true vision.

Q- Devouring Dart Monos shoot a little swarm of devouring insects in a target direction, dealing magic damage to every target hit and slowing them of 20/25/30/35/40/% + a "infested" stack Every "infested" stack deal 1% of pure damage on top of the total damage dealt up to 5 stacks. Can be used during symbiotic form,

W-Swarming translation In base form Monos can dematerialize itself in 2 swarms that fly creating a oval and then reforming in a target point (Galio's q) If in symbiotic form, throws in the targeted point a part of its equipment (its helmet for instance). An allied champion can click it to dematerialize itself togheter with mons and reapper in the established point. Enemies stricken by the swarm during or at the end of the way will suffer magic damage and an "infested" stack.

E- Cellular fortification Monos fuses itself in symbiosis (symbiotic form) with an ally champion, protecting it with its swarm. Monos suffers damage instead of its ally to a maximum of the 15/20/25/30/40% of its maximum health for 4 seconds. Monos can stay in the ally body for the duration of 10 seconds. Once the time is expired Monos is forced out. Symbiosis ally will apply "infested" stacks with each AA.

R-Unleash the Swarm! Monos relase an explosion of insects around itself dealing magic damage, applying an "infested" stack and blinding every enemy facing it for 2 seconds (Quin blinding, not teemo one). If the enemy hit already had an "infested" stack then the duration of the effect is increased of 1 second for each stack.

Signore e signore, streamer e casul, benvenuti alla presentazione di un nuovo campione ideato dalla premiata ditta Whiteface&Co. Se avete osservato recentemente (o anni fa) il Vuoto non ha nessuno campione appositamente fatto per il supporto! Uno scandalo! Quindi io me medesimo ho deciso di farne uno mio. Creai Monos prima dell'uscita di Kayn (assieme ad un altro campione che pubblicheò a breve) quindi la storia è basata sulla vecchia versione del Vuoto. Dato che non ho voglia di adattarla (cosa che si potrebbe fare), fatre finta che vada bene così.

Monos lo Sciame Simbiontico Tra i più pericolosi attacchi all'impero di Shurima da parte delle creature del Vuoto, non si può non citare Mak Gad che in antico shurimano significa l'Affamatore. La minaccia comparve secoli fa da una frattura della realtà in una località sperduta ma ricca di campi dell'impero, riuscendo così a crescere indisturbata. Un giorno sparì una persona,il giorno dopo due, da due tre, finchè non sparì l'intero villaggio compreso di bestiame, animali da compagnia e tutta la vegetazione circostante nell'arco di una sola notte. Da quel giorno vennero segnalati numerosi avvistamenti di una grossa nube nera in tutta la zona Nord-Ovest dell'impero che al suo passaggio nulla di vivo lasciava. L'esercito si rivelò del tutto inefficace nel bloccare la nube, dato che lei si muoveva rapiamente ed i suoi attacchi duravano un nonnulla. L'unica cosa che scoprirono è che si trattava di uno sciame di insetti originari del Vuoto. Quindi l'imperatore si vide costretto a far fuggire tutti gli abitanti della zona ed abbandonare tutto il raccolto, preparando una qualche strategia per combattere lo sciame. Strategia che avrebbe dovuto usare appena qualche settimana dopo. Infatti, esaurita ogni possibile fonte di nutrimento, lo sciame decise di recarsi a quella più vicina. Una città stracolma di profughi e viveri per mantenerli, Shurima! l'esercito tentò vari attacchi allo sciame con frecce incediarie e balle di fieno ricopere di pece, ma i danni arrecatigli erano insignificanti ed a nulla servì, se non a perdere valorosi uomini. Ormai lo sciame aveva raggiunto la capitale, rimanendoci sospeso sopra per godersi il terrore della popolazione. A quel punto l'Imperatore, in tenuta da battaglia, uscì sul balcone del suo palazzo e disse-" Tornate nel Vuoto spregevoli insetti, prima che la mia ira incomba su di voi!". A sentire quelle parole l'enorme gruppo di insetti inizio ad agitarsi creando un suono molto simile ad una risata e poi delle parole-" Le uniche cose che incombono sono le nostre fami... e la vostra fine! ". Detto ciò lo sciame si scagliò sulla città ed il piano dell'imperatore entrò subito in atto. Sfruttando il suo potere di Incantatore e di vari edifici appositamente modificati in modo che fungessero da amplificatori, l'imperatore stese un telo di luce impenetrabile sulla città per poi chiuderlo come un sacco, intrappolando lo sciame al suo interno. A quel punto l'imperatore, protetto dalla magia, si avviò fino al centro dello sciame: "Ingenuo umano"- iniziò lo sciame-" Quanto credi di riuscire a tenerci rinchiusi?". "Il tempo che serve."- L'imperatore estrasse da una sacca una sfera viola grande quanto un melone - "Questo antico manufatto è l'occhio di Vir Moga, un invasore del Vuoto che venne ucciso decenni addietro; il suo occhio gli permetteva di vedere attraverso le realtà. Io invece posso fare di meglio".

L'imperatore infuse la sua magia nella sfera da cui si creò una passaggio verso il Vuoto che iniziò a risucchiare lo sciame ed anche lo stesso Imperatore. In pochi minuti la minaccia fu scongiurata ed il popolo fu salvo. Grandi feste sarebbero state organizzate ma la scomparsa del loro salvatore aveva rattristato tutto l'impero. Quindi venne organizzato il più grande e maestoso funerale mai visto a Shurima in onore del più grande Imperatore passato,presente e futuro. Ma anche se Shurima era sopravvissuta i danni causati dallo sciame alle coltivazioni furono enormi. L'impero aveva perso metà del raccolto totale e la fame che ne conseguì porto allo scoppio di una guerra civile che mise in ginocchio l'impero per oltre un ventennio. Ed è in questo periodo che i shurimani coniarono il nome "Mak Gad" (l'Affamatore). Gli shurimani non seppero mai l'effettiva fine che fece il loro imperatore. Tutti credevano fosse morto da eroe... non fu proprio così. Lo sciame e l'Imperatore si ritrovarono in una immensa landa desolata nel Vuoto-"Cosa hai fatto!?"- vibrò lo sciame, scagliando addosso all'umano frotte di insetti che gli infliggevano dolorosissimi morsi senza strappare la carne per prolungarne le sofferenze. "Ti ho spedito nel più grande deserto del Vuoto che conoscessi. Qui non troverai nulla di vivo di cui cibarti. E' lo stesso risultato che avresti ottenuto una volta finito di consumare Shurima. Morirai di stenti!". "Ma tu hai la pietra"- disse lo sciame riferendosi all'occhio di Vir Moga-" Puoi riportarci là!" L'imperatore rise di gusto- "Impossibile! Serve un'enorme quantità di energia, quantità che non raggiungerò mai prima di morire di fame. Ed anche se potessi MAI riporterei una piaga come te nel mio Impero!". Dopo qualche istante di riflessione lo sciame disse -"Molto bene"- dopodichè gli si fiondò addosso. Gli insetti più piccoli iniziarono ad entrargli nella carne praticando piccoli fori nella pelle, mentre quelli più grossi da tutti gli orifizi possibili. Il dolore fece stramazzare al suolo l'imperatore che tentò di urlare, ma aveva la gola otturata dalle creature. Fremiti e movimenti involontari presero vita sul suo corpo finchè non ne perse totalmente il controllo. <Qual'è il tuo nome umano?> - disse una voce nella sua testa. L'imperatore stette in silenzio. <Ahahahahah. Non serve che rispondi. So gia tutto quello che hai nella testa... imperatore Monos. Sai, avevi ragione. Con il nostro sistema non saremmo sopravvissuti alla lunga. Ti ringraziamo per averci dato l'ispirazione per risolvere il nostro problema. Ci cannibalizzeremo pur di sopravvivere a questo deserto e ti assicuro che c'è la faremo. Anche tu sopravviverai... Diventandi parte di Noi. Prenderemo possesso del tuo corpo, imparando a manipolarne la struttura ed a conviverci senza ucciderne l'ospite. Sfrutteremo le tue conoscenze sull'occhio di Vir Moga, per trovare una frattura che ci riporti nel tuo impero...> <no...> <Una volta giunti lì, infesteremo ogni contadino, mercante,nobile,soldato; ogni singolo abitante del tuo GRANDE impero. Ci nutriremo con loro. Vivremo dentro loro. Saremo loro. Diventeranno Noi! > <...> <E quando ciò accadrà... NOI. SAREMO. SHURIMA!>

Aspetto Mentre scrivevo la storia ho pensato che Monos potesse avere l'aspetto non di uno sciame di forma umanoide (come nell'immagine) ma bensì che controllasse il corpo dell'Imperatore ad una tale livello che può tranquillamente trasformarlo nello sciame a suo piacimento.Adesso descrivo la sua forma nell'idea base.(forse mettero un disegno anche per questa idea più avanti)

Monos è uno sciame di insetti che ha preso forma umanoide(disegno. forse cammina su delle finte gambe) . . Indossa (in verità trasporta) parti di equipaggiamento di un soldato shurimano che ha raccolto dopo esser tornato a Shurima , un elmo con mantello, un bracciale e forse altro. L'equipaggiamento che "indossa" è rimasto abbandonato dopo il crollo di Shurima, durante la fallita ascensione di Xerath, quindi risulta arruginito e logoro. Porta con sè l'occhio di Vir Moga usandolo come finto occhio per la sua "testa". I suoi AA sono ravvicinati (dato che si è specializzato nella simbiosi ha un numero di insetti divoratori limitato che utilizza per la sua Q) e dovrebbe usare una qualche arma shurimana(una lancia, una spada a mezzaluna).

Abilità (tutti i numeri sono puramente indicativi) Passiva- Simbiosi Progressiva. Ogni 2 min. passati vicino ad un campione alleato fanno guadagnare a Monos ed all'alleato una stack "Simbiosi". La stack aumenta le statistiche base(vel AA,danni,vel. movimento...) del 1,2% fino ad un massimo di 10 stack. Le stack hanno effetto finche Monos si trova vicino agli alleati. Se Monos si allontana l'effetto delle stack dura ancora per 5 secondi. A Monos si sommano tutte le stack di tutti gli alleati, esempio: Ashe 10stack+Garen 3stack+Lux 4stack=17 stack per Monos. Le stack si accumulano col tempo ma il timer di accumulo non viene resettato se Monos si allontana. Se per esempio stai vicino per 30 secondi e poi te ne vai, quando torni il timer sarà rimasto a 30 secondi. Il timer delle stack inizia ad accumularsi a partire dai 2:00 minuti della partita.

Passiva2- l'occhio di Vir Moga.(questa l ho pensata dopo e forse non va messa) L'occhio potenzia le ward che Monos piazza facendogli perdere 1 punto vita ma regalandogli Vera Visione (come le vecchie pink... bei tempi). Oppure Quando piazzi una Ward Monos rivela una vasta area davanti a se con la Vera Visione.(Come i frutti della visione)

Q- Dardo Divorante Monos spara un piccolo sciame si insetti divoranti in una direzione bersaglio, infliggendo danni magici ad ogni bersaglio colpito e rallentandoli del 20/25/30/35/40% più una stack "Infestato". Ogni stack "Infestato" infligge 1% di danni puri nel tempo in aggiunta al danno totale subito. Massimo 5 stack. Può essere usato durante la forma simbiontica.

W- Traslazione sciamante In forma base Monos può smaterializzarsi in due sciami che volano disegnado un ovale per poi ricomporsi in un punto bersaglio(la Q di Galio praticamente). Se in forma simbiontica, lancia nel punto scelto parte del suo equipaggiamento(il suo elmo per esempio). Un campione alleato in simbiosi puo cliccarci sopra per smaterializzarsi assieme a Monos e comparire nel punto stabilito. Avversari colpiti dallo sciame durante o alla fine del tragitto ricevono danni magici ed una stack "Infestato".

E- Rafforzamento cellulare Monos si unisce in simbiosi (forma simbiontica) con un campione alleato bersaglio proteggendolo con il suo sciame. Monos subisce i danni al posto dell'alleato fino ad un massimo del 15/20/25/30/40% della sua salute massima per 4 secondi. Monos può restare nel corpo alleato massimo10 secondi.Scaduto il tempo massimo Monos fuoriesce. L'alleato in simbiosi applica stack "Infestato" ad ogni AA.

R- Scatena lo Sciame! Monos rilascia un'esplosione di insetti tutt'intorno a se infliggendo danni magici, applicando una stack "Infestato" ed accecando ogni nemico voltato verso di lui per 2 secondi(accecamento di Quinn, non di Teemo). Se il nemico colpito aveva già una stack "Infestato" l'effetto aumenta di 1 secondo per ogni stack.
