I understand that all of these armors and weapons are copyrighted names from the Monster Hunter series, so of course these aren't the final ideas and such, but this is a starting point. Also I know that having armor buffs will probably give him too much hidden power, but I was hoping that we could somehow fix that somehow. I feel like the concept is really unique and fun to try and will add something new to the table that has never been explored so far. I'd like to think of this character sorta like Erza Scarlet from Fairy Tail, a warrior with many weapons and armors in his arsenal. Also of course these numbers aren't supposed to be final, they're just numbers I thought felt balanced or at least just not too weak that it would instantly require a buff.

Axele, The Monster Hunter

Passive - The Monster Hunter: Axele wears Iron Armor and is equipped with Twin Daggers as default. Casting and holding an ability will change the current armor that Axele is wearing, doing so puts the ability on cooldown. Axele receives buffs depending on the armor he is wearing. After changing into an armor, you cannot change armor for 60 seconds and you revert back into Iron Armor after 30 seconds. After having not using a weapon for 5 seconds, you equip Twin Daggers.

Q: Tigrex Armor - Change into Tigrex’s armor. While wearing Tigrex armor, your basic attacks and abilities deal an additional 15 (15% Total AD) per level.

W: Daora’s Armor - Change into Kushala Daora’s armor. While wearing Daora armor, you receive 10% less damage from all sources.

E: Rathian’s Armor - Change into Rathian’s armor. While wearing Rathian armor, you poison all enemy that deals damage to you or enemies that you basic attack, dealing 25/30/35/40/45 true damage per second over 3 seconds.

(Damage increases whenever E is upgraded.)

R: Gore Magala’s Armor - Change into Gore Magala’s armor. While wearing Gore armor, you gain 10/15/20% lifesteal. Additionally all abilities will heal Axele for 5/15/25% of the physical damage dealt.

(Scaling is increased whenever R is upgraded.)


Q - Tigrex's Wraith: Axele equips Tigrex Greatsword and then charges his great sword for up to 3 seconds. The longer Axele charges, the stronger the ability. Axele’s movement speed and attack speed is slowed while wielding the Tigrex Greatsword, however his AD is greatly increased. 15/14/13/12/11 sec Cooldown

Normal Cast 40/90/140/190/240 AD (15% Total AD) 1 Second Cast 70/120/170/220/270 AD (15% Total AD) 2 Second Cast 100/150/200/250/300 AD (15% Total AD) 3 Second Cast 150/200/250/300/350 AD (15% Total AD)

While wielding Tigrex Greatsword AD increases by 20/25/30/35/40 + (20% Total AD)

W - Spear of Daora: Axele equips Daora’s Lance and shield, then charging a small distance. The first enemy champion hit is knocked back and takes 100/120/140/160/180 (50% Total AD). Monsters and enemy minions hit take 25% more damage. 20/18/16/14/12 Second Cooldown.

While wielding Daora’s Lance and shield, you have slightly more range and take 10% reduced damage from all sources.

E - Eye of Rathian: Axele equips Queen Blaster, then charges up to 3 charges, by recasting the ability you may shoot the shot that the charge is on. Once Axele has reached 3 charges, he is forced to fire. Each charges change the shot type.

1 Charge - Fire a single arrow stopping at the first unit hit dealing 30/70/110/150/190 True Damage (5% Total AD). [Short-Ranged] 2 Charge - Fire 5 arrows in a volley, each dealing 55/80/105/130/155 AD (35% AD) and stopping at the first unit hit. 3 Charge - Fire a single arrow, piercing through all enemy units dealing 90/140/190/240/290 AD (25% Total AD). Enemies that are hit after the first target receives 50% damage. [Long-Ranged]

While wielding Queen Blaster, Axele’s basic attack range and attack speed is greatly increased.

R - Magala’s Dance: Axele equips Stahlfakt. This ability can be casted 3 times. The first cast swings the longsword to the right dealing 100/150/200 AD (35% Total AD), the second to the left dealing 100/150/200 AD (35% AD), then the last cast combos into a final twirl dealing 100/150/200 AD (35% Total AD). If Axele hits an enemy with the final combo, Axele gains the buff of Unleashed. 100/80/60 Second Cooldown

While wielding Stahlfakt, Axele’s basic attacks deal 2%/4%/6% opponent's Health as AD (20% Total AD).

While Axele is Unleashed, he gains 35% AD and 50% Movement Speed for 10 seconds.

This sounds amazing! I'd consider playing it! Do you have any armor design? Any other design on the character too?
