Hextech Annie

I feel the probability of unlocking hextech is super slim unless you spend a lot of money, but even then everything is still by chance. Is there going to be any type of indication as to an event in which the likelihood of getting_ rare gems_ will be more common? I feel with the fact that hextech is such a "luck" based skin that there should be a type of reward or challenge system that increases the chances or earns you a_ rare gem __such as getting at least a quadra kill or having a certain amount of kills before getting shut down. Things like these will not only persuade players to play their best but also get a reward in return likely to be of satisfaction to players. Also the quantity of _rare gems _required seems a bit much considering it takes multiple chances of _pure luck to acquire. Riot please let me know what you think of this.

They will be selling chests in the store that have a guaranteed gem drop in them sometime in the future, but for now all we can do is just try to find them or hope you get lucky and gain the Hextech Annie Skin Shard.

Did they have any indications as to when the boxes will be sold? Also exactly how lucky do they expect people to be? Do they want the skin to be so rare to the point of scarce ownership or will they want it to take off and be somewhat an achievement?

Nope. Just said there will be chests with a guaranteed drop in them in the future. The skin itself is clearly meant to be like an achievement though or else they would have just put it in the store like any other skin.
