Why is Katarina's new shuno description a dash?

Riot what is the actual purpose of making her teleport description a dash that is just fast? Considering the ability is still coded as a blink isnt it cooler to just have her keep teleporting. Her moving really fast i's no fun please just keep it a teleport that's what this champion is all about. Making her someone who just moves fast isn't special, the teleport is is what made this champ seem so cool but now she's just a basic ninja. Return her to just teleporting please that's who and what katarina is, a teleporter.

I am in the dash camp, and here is why:

There are a bunch of abilities in the game that interact with (block) dashes, and we are going to see more of them as time goes by. In addition, displacement CC also interacts with dashes and "cancels" them.

The power of teleport over a dash is that it ignores these interactions. Having Shunpu be a dash, while thematically not correct, is basically allowing champions to interact (disrupt) her mechanics, thus making playing against her more fair.

I prefer her to keep the old kit with 355 base MS instead of 345... REAL MOBILITY BUFF! ^^ Not this "mobility" she got with the rework xD

I would say because Ground cc effects dashes, but does not mention teleports.

It would be a little odd that they would make this sort of change because of a crowd control effect that only a single champion has at the moment, but considering how both Katarina and Cassiopeia are midlane champions, it makes at least somewhat more sense.

Sure, I am actually okay with making it a dash because now I'm trying to think of any other champion who has an ability that is specifically categorized as a teleport. If there are not any, it could just be an attempt to retain continuity.

Even in that case, I would say you could make a stronger case for it being a blink over a dash however.

I could be wrong about the difference in definition, but a dash can be interrupted by cc because the champion is technically moving through the space between Point A and Point B.

Actually, I just checked the LoLWiki page and it is classified as a blink.

Granted, this is prior to the rework being on live servers, and LoLWiki is technically not controlled by Riot directly.
