Custom Champion Concept: Ashlyn, the Templar of Light
Ashlyn, the Templar of Light, is a fighter type champion, specifically a diver, that is very adept at focusing on a single target while doing a lot worse when she has to split her focus on multiple targets. Although she does have some AoE damage. Her great strength are prolonged fights and soaking non-CC related damage, her weakness is poke, heavy CC and hit and run tactics. However she can pursue a single target with great efficiency.
Thematically I wanted her to embody a kind of "absolute justice", "unobstructed justice" that stops before nothing and no one but also "blind justice" where she zealously focuses on one person or thing that she deems to be worth punishing.
Passive: Purifying Armaments
Searing Greatsword: Ashlyn is equipped with the searing greatsword, a large two-handed blade, forged from the finest Demacian sun steel and enchanted with some of Ashlyn's strongest spells. The greatsword is adept at channeling large amounts of light magic and excellent for the purification of any the Templar deems to be impure. Consecutive auto attacks against the same target grant Ashlyn stacks of increasing attackspeed up to a bonus of X%. (Auto attacking another target will reset the number of passive stacks of her Searing Greatsword). Once Ashlyn has achieved the maximum attackspeed bonus of her passive, her auto attacks will deal Y + Z% AD bonus physical damage.
Kaleidoscope Armor: The other armament Ashlyn is wearing is the Kaleidoscope Armor, also forged from finest Demacian sun steel. The Kaleidoscope Armor is adept at breaking apart incoming sources of damage. Consecutive attacks against Ashlyn, from Champions will stack "Breakdown!" on her, each stack of breakdown will reduce incoming damage by X flat amount. When Y stacks of "Breakdown!" are stacked upon Ashlyn her armor will enter "Perfect Diffusions". While in the "Perfect Diffusion" state the next Z attacks against Ashlyn will deal A% reduced damage. After which her armor resets. (Stacks of "Breakdown!" decay after being out of combat for X seconds.)
Q: Rain of Light Ashlyn gathers light energy in her searing greatsword and shoots it up into the air. Bolts of purifying light will strike enemies around her for X + Y% AD physical damage and slow them for Z%. (Bolts deal damage in a small AoE around them). The Zone is centered around her and will move as she does. If Ashlyn is in the AoE of one of the bolts she will receive one stack of "Breakdown!".
W: Blinding Charge Ashlyn charges towards her selected target dealing X+Y% AD physical damage. She is forced to attack her target for X seconds (if it is alive)[this is a self-taunt]. If her target faced towards her until the end of her dash then they will be blinded for X seconds Ashlyn also gains X stacks of her searing greatsword passive.
E: Path of Radiance Ashlyn fires a path of light from her searing greatsword, illuminating the area struck and dealing X +Y% AD +Z% AP physical damage. While on the Path of Radiance Ashlyn will not only ignore unit collision but also ignore terrain collision, allowing her to move unimpeded through and over walls.
R: Mirror Barrier/Radiant Reflection First Cast: Ashlyn creates a mirror barrier around her, absorbing the first source of damage hitting her and any further sources of damage for .X (the period denotes it as a fraction of a second) seconds beyond that. While Ashlyn is keeping the mirror barrier up she is immobilized. (Ashlyn does not block any crowd control effects and can be crowd controlled during Mirror Barrier but it will not interrupt the spell, as it is no channel).
Second Cast: After having absorbed damage Ashlyn can move again and will be able to activate radiant reflection, throwing Y + A% AP + the absorbed damage[up to a cap] back as AoE into the chosen direction. (The second cast can only be used for X seconds after the first cast. If not used until then the ability will go on cooldown.)
