New Champion Concept

I was thinking of a new champion that was based around the premise of evolving similar to the monsters that we see in the game Evolve. How it would work is the champion would have to kill X amount of creatures per each stage with a max total of three. Once X amount has been killed they can evolve to a stronger state. When they evolve this would increase the base damage on their abilities slightly as well as allow someone to change one of their abilities. Upgrading an ability is similar in the way to khazix mainly by making the ability stronger in a certain way however unlike khazix the upgrading process would have different pathways to follow and each would add a new unique effect for each ability.

For example if the q was a hurled projectile upgrading it would cause that projectile to either have a larger width and leave a trail of flames behind it or have a much thinner width, longer range and be able to piece through enemies.

I definitely think that this would bring some fun element to league as you can have a champion that you can fit to your playstyle with it.

I like your idea, but the creation of it would just be a nuisance. You're wanting 2-3 different variations of an ability, for all abilities? That's an incredibly powerful, adaptable kit that would be absolute hell to balance. Maybe making it more tame where at lvl 6, you get to choose one of 3 variations of an ult that is now your permanent ult for the rest of the game would be more possible, but your current proposal of 4 abilities x 3 variations per = 16 abilities that are all different would just be too much hassle.

Following up on your idea though, I would like to see a champ that has two different paths available to them. Route A. they become assassin and burst focused. Route B. they become bruiser and skirmisher focused and upon reaching lvl 6, they have to make their choice; Would the player rather dash in, assassinate high priority target, and then dip out or be a bit tankier and less mobile, but have better dueling power as a result?

Alas, these speculations of ours are just to sate ideas that are gnawing at out minds, the odds of anyone with the power to create champions for League taking these opinions down as notes is pretty much non-existent.
