Any news on when Taric gets a rework or visual update... or something? He used to be my favorite and now he just seems boring.

Hey!

According to Rioters, Taric is actually well under way, with his kit more or less solid, and his visuals in progress. Quoting RiotKateyKhaos who quoted RiotRepertior:

Riot Repertior mentioned recently that Taric is currently in the process of a rework -

Taric's 90% or so done from the gameplay side actually. However, due to him needing new model, animations, vfx, sfx, etc., there are still a few big projects ahead of him. It probably won't be until late fall or winter that we reveal changes.
