Zyra and Maokai

I'm just really wondering why they're listed as rivals next to their lore. Wouldn't it make sense for the plant and the tree to be friends?

Probably a the remnant of an old addition made before they adjusted Maokai for the new Shadow Isles stuff. If anything he should be rivals with Mordekaiser right now, considering that Morde's the biggest obstacle in the way of Maokai fixing the Shadow Isles.

To my recollection, it's because Zyra enjoys her new found freedom, while Maokai hates it. Maokai LIKED being a regular old tree spirit, just chilling and photosynthesizing and stuff.

Zyra is a plant who likes being sentient. maokai is a tree spirit who hates his current status.
