I'm going to keep this rather short and jump right into the point.

Over the years Riot has released a lot of skins, and as time progressed, the skin design team as well as skin quality have grown remarkably. Where we stand today a lot of skins aren't even comparable, quality and price wise and people need to understand that it's no ones fault.

Like i said people grow and evolve and when you do something for a long time with all your love and heart, you're bound to get good at it. And that's what happened with the design team. And we should be glad it did..

Many people suggest old skins should be reworked. And to a point i agree. But that takes a LOT of time and work, therefore making it impossible to complete in a short period of time. We're talking years.

So my suggestion is, why not pick a handful of champions with lower quality skins and give them chromas?

A lot of older legendary skins for example have great effects but the color seem dull.

People prefer Soulstealer Vlad over Blood lord because of the effects, but i think the key is color.

Imagine a world where Blood Lord Vladimir has a chroma. His effects are really good as it is, and the only thing pulling it down(even tho it fits the theme) is his default red color.

The chrome colors are open for discussion, but i stand to make one simple suggestion. Gold.

That's right.

Gold..

Imagine a Blood Lord Vlad roaming about and doing it's thing but in. Wait for it..

GOLD

This awesome idea aside, i took Vlad as an example, but this can be done with a large pool(pun not intended) of skins. And i truly believe people would like it.

Either way, just my 2 cents. I'm curious to read your suggestions as well.

TL;DR lel

This post is hilarious. But, taking it seriously, I think the idea is a brilliant, cost-effective (where the cost is time and the artists' salaries) and nostalgia preserving idea. (to some extent.)

However, I don't see how it clears up the splash art problem. I am most disconcerted when I see outdated splash art, not in-game art. (Mostly because the old splashes were horrendous.) And even with Tristana's complete visual re-haul they didn't update her other splash art.
