  • Axel is a highly mobile fighter who relies on his basic abilities and movement speed to deal damage and escape.

  • Axel is extremely speed based especially with movement speed.

###Abilities:


####Innate Passive - Quick Feet

>Axel permanently gains bonus movement speed

>Axel reduces the effectiveness of slows

>Special: While in Speed Zone, Axel increases his movement speed bonus and slow reduction.

  • Axel reduces the effectiveness of slows by reducing how much they slow by i.e if Axel receives a 50% slow, he is instead slowed by 37.5/35/32.5/30%.

  • Axel does not reduce the slow duration. Both passives scale at levels 1/6/11/16.

  • Bonus movement speed is multiplicative.

####Q - Swift Action

>First Active: Axel dashes a short distance dealing physical damage to all targets.

>Second Active: Axel knock ups a target enemy dealing physical damage, targets hit by previous cast are knocked up for longer.

>Third Active: Axel knocks an enemy down slowing them, targets hit by previous cast are rooted and targets hit by all casts are stunned.

>Special: While inside Speed Zone, Axel's knockups and knockdowns apply in an AoE.

  • This is a Riven like Q (not as much spam though).

  • The aim is to hit your target with all three casts to get the bonus effects.

  • If a target is hit by a Dash+Slow combo or Knockup+Slow, they are rooted. If they are hit by all three casts, they are instead stunned.

####W - Hefty Leap

>Passive: Dealing damage to an enemy champion or large monster grants Axel increased movement speed and attack speed.

>Active: Axel jumps into the air becoming untargetable and lands dealing damage.

>Special: While inside Speed Zone, Axel can jump one more time for half the duration.

  • This is very good gap closer tool.

  • Axel uses it to sustain (by dodging damage instead of tanking it).

  • Axel can leave untargetability by recasting the spell.

>>Mana Cost: 70 Mana

>>Cooldown: 20 seconds

>>Ability Type: Untargetability + AoE

>>Range: 500 units

>>Damage Radius: 400 unit range

>>Damage Dealt: 95/120/145/170/195 (+0.8/1.0/1.2/1.4/1.6 bonus AD) physical damage

>>Duration Of Untargetability: 0.5/1.0/1.5/2.0/2.5 seconds

####E - Roundhouse

>Active: Axel unleashes a roundhouse kick knocking enemies back. If an enemy champion is hit, Axel can do another kick deal reduced damage and knock back radius

>Special: While inside Speed Zone, the second knockback has the same damage and knockback as the first.

  • This is helps Axel isolate targets or set up targets for fights as well as protect him from being killed by the enemy team coming close to him.

  • This can be very good for avoiding burst damage from assassins (like Akali, Yi or Zed).

>#####Specifications - Roundhouse

>>Mana Cost: 40 for first cast, 80 for second

>>Cooldown: 15/22/29/36/43 seconds

>>Ability Type: Knock back

>>Range: 300 units

>>Primary Knock back distance: 100 units

>>Secondary Knock back distance: 50 units

>>Initial Damage: 50/100/150/200/250

>>Reduced Damage: 40/80/120/160/200

####R - Speed Zone

>Active: Axel casts a large zone in a an area slowing enemies attack speed and movement speed. While inside the zone, Axel gets movement speed equal to a percentage of all enemies movement speed inside the zone and unlocks bonus effects on these abilites.

  • This is a global ult.

  • Axel only gets the benefits while inside the zone.

  • Enemies are only slowed once for 3 seconds over the 10/15/20 second period (the first time they enter the zone).

  • Axel still keeps the benefits even if enemies have left the zone.

  • Axel's movement speed decays slowly over 3 seconds after leaving the zone.

  • Axel's movement speed buff applies like Nasus' damage buff, it increases per second.

  • The movement speed bonus is applied as a flat amount. i.e if the total movement speed of enemies in the zone comes out to be 1000, Axel gains 150/300/450 bonus movement speed per second for 5 seconds.
