Notes of Current Pantheon: Feels old, just spam QWE, stab, stab, and repeat, nothing special.

Goal of New Pantheon: Dynamic and more in the kit, a spartan/warlike. Goes with Riot's recent changes to champions, making them unique and flashy.

Outline of New Pantheon: Spear and Shield are now pickups with bonus stats. Pantheon starts with Spear and Shield but can have Spear and Shield in the ground ready to be picked up. (like Olaf Q) Basic weapon is a dagger-like khopesh (a weapon like Diana ) (Khopesh could be a dragon tooth or from AurelionSol star) More skill shots. More unique.

Passive:

Khopesh: gives bonus attack speed when equipped. Spear: gives bonus damage and range when equipped. Shield: Like old passive: when equipped, provides immunity to next basic attack from enemy champions and towers. Refreshes when Bashes enemy champion. When equipped. Spear and Shield automatically go back to Pantheon upon death/recall.

-Q: (With Spear) Is now a skill shot. If Spear hits an enemy unit, it is temporarily stuck in them. If Pantheon basic attacks the enemy unit with Spear in them, Pantheon rips it out of enemy unit dealing bonus damage. If Pantheon fails to attack the enemy unit with Spear in them for over a couple of seconds, the Spear falls out and is stuck on the floor waiting for Pantheon to pick it up. If Pantheon fails to hit an enemy with Q, Spear is then stuck in the ground.

(With Khopesh) Next three attacks now steal mana.

-W: (With Shield) Is now a skill shot. If Shield hits an enemy unit, the enemy unit is slowed and Shield flies back to Pantheon (like Captain America). If Shield hits an enemy Champion, that Champion is now Marked. If Pantheon is close enough, could right click (like Rengar leap) and leap to Marked enemy Champion and Bashes with shield, stunning them. (like present W) If Pantheon Bashes an enemy Champion with Spear in them, Pantheon also rips out Spear, dealing the bonus damage from Q. If Pantheon misses initial Shield throw, Shield is now stuck in the ground like Spear, can be picked back up.

(Without Shield) Pantheon leaps forward a short distance and Spartan kicks first enemy unit hit, knocking them back.

-E: (With Spear) Like present E, Pantheon rapidly stabs in a cone but now can be extended by holding on to E and also slowly change directions. Enemy units that are constantly struck by E receive more damage each additional strike. Each strike cost additional mana. If Pantheon also has Shield, he reduces incoming damage in front of him(like Braum, but is not moving)

(With Khopesh) Pantheon swiftly sweeps in a wide arc, cleaving away and reducing armor of enemy units.

I feel like this rework could be fun, but there are some issues I personally have with this; a warrior who throws around his shield and spear feels less like warrior and more like some random dude throwing whatever is in his hands to attack the enemy. Also doesn't reflect a Spartan apart from the Spartan kick, which is a joke because it isn't an actual fighting technique, just a meme.

His w is a skillshot but if you miss it you lose more than you could possibly gain by throwing it, since you lose the damage reduction on E and you only get a "Spartan kick" to compensate. His Q feels mediocre because having his weapon become a short range attack speed based type of playstyle doesn't a champion with literally no dashes, and if engaged on would probably get out traded or just die instantly.

This idea in general seems lacking in cohesion between the abilities.

So long as it gets rid of the constant Q poke, I'm willing to sign off on it. Damn, I really hate that Q, it is such bull tripe free damagein lane.
