Rent The Skins

So recently I have thought of a pretty nifty idea that Riot could do to make more money and allow people to test out skins without needing the special account. Riot should have a Rent All Skins buff for 24 hours in the store. Summoners should be allowed to pay $5.00 worth of points to gain a 24 hour buff that unlocks all of the skins for every champion for 1 full day. This allows players to either test out a skin they want or just go crazy buying the All Skins buff over and over gain. I'm not sure if this idea is new or not, but I know for 1 that I would love to see that.

Maybe $5.00 is too cheap. But for those who play like 5-10 matches a day, it would be an awesome thing to incorporate.

I like the skin rental idea. You can only get so much from watching the preview vids on youtube. How about spending IP? Or if you do cash (RP), let some of the sample fee be refunded if you buy it.

I think IP would defeat the purpose of them making money though. It would benefit Riot a lot more to use RP all the time. Maybe on major holidays they could allow IP as a "gift" to all summoners.

BUT, people are more willing to use IP...a lot more rentals (and therefore purchases) would be made with IP. I mean, that's how all these F2P games are going strong...give them the "free" (still uses IP) sample, and they are more likely to spend real cash than if they have to spend cash on a rental (unless perhaps you offer a complete refund (or discount off the skin purchase)). That might work. Charge $1's worth of RP to rent for 24 hours. Then if they purchase, they get $1 discount. I still like IP..maybe both.
