The Juggernaut Club: Part 37
In Zaun, the Reverted Urgot and Sion are unsurprisingly freaking out after having been turned back into their older selves. Sion is just staring at himself in a state of inconsolable shock, while Urgot has grabbed Ekko and is shaking him frantically.
: QUICK, QUICK! CHANGE US BACK! HURRY!
Ekko's speech is shaky, due to the fact that Urgot is shaking him back and forth.
: I...can't! That... last... spasm... made... the... Z-Drive... run... out... of... juice!
He points, and Urgot looks. The Z-Drive has lost its former greenish-blue glow.
: BUT HOW CAN WE GET CHANGED BACK!?
: Would..you...stop...shaking...me!? Gah!
Ekko breaks free of Urgot's grasp.
: I gotta finish fixing it! I'd already be DONE by now if you two hadn't unceremoniously barged in like this!
He walks up and picks up the dead Z-Drive.
: Now it looks EXACTLY like how it did when Nasus gave it back to me. He groans in frustration Come on!
: Where are we going?
: To find Zilean! He helped me fix it before! After giving me a stern talking to about messing around with time, that is. He's probably looking for me anyway; because I'll bet he's already sensed the things gone wrong with you two!
Urgot pulls his head (Still stuck in the doorway) out, and then does the same for the still shell-shocked Sion. Ekko walks out angrily into the city, followed by Urgot, who is dragging Sion by his hands.
In another part of Zaun, Viktor, Swain and Vlad are heading out the front door of his laboratory...
: Are you going to tell us what the invention does while we're looking for it? And maybe what it looks like?
: NO! I'M NOT IN THE MOOD!
: Aww... I want to see if it's better than a "Shh"!
: QUIET! NOTHING'S GOING TO GET DONE UNTIL WE FIND AND GET IT BACK! NOW COME ON!
: This sounds like fun; I don't want to miss out on it. Come on, Blitzy!
: AFFIRMATIVE.
Swain and Vlad follow Viktor out of his laboratory, and they are unknowingly followed by Blitzcrank and Zac.
In Piltover, with Jayce's help, Quinn has gotten J4 ready for transportation back to Demacia. He's tied up, like Jinx. Now they're just waiting on Lucian. Quinn groans as she coddles her unconscious pet bird in her arms. During the tying up of J4, Lucian was ushered into another room by Camille to finish his crying session.
: Is he done in there yet? I figured by NOW he would have bawled his eyes out. I'd like to go home, and MAYBE actually get a break!
: Aren't you going to wait for tomorrow? The our two joint foremen can then accompany you to survey the damage in Demacia.
: NO! I'VE DONE ENOUGH WAITING!
: Suit yourself. Tears up the paperwork that Quinn had filled out before Now, I want to see if the Sheriff and the Co-Forewoman have caught that... "Pansy-Butt"... as they called him?
: Probably won't need to wait too long.
: You said that a few hours ago!
: Wanna play "Hide the Rocket in the Jayce's mouth" while we're waiting?
: How do you play?
: CAMILLE! Really!?
Elsewhere in the building... Ezreal is running like a madman, with Caitlyn and Vi still hot on his heels.
: I KEEP TELLING YOU, HEIMERDINGER HIRED ME! I WASN'T DOING ANYTHING SUSPICIOUS!
: The Professor isn't here to ask, and I haven't seem any ads he put out for hired hands!
: Well, you're screwed now, Pansy-Butt! When Cupcake says you're guilty, YOU'RE GUILTY!
: I THOUGHT THIS WAS PILTOVER, NOT FREAKING DEMACIA!
However, suddenly the roof comes crashing down on Ezreal! As the dust settles, Caitlyn and Vi see that it is Heimerdinger!
: How befuddling! I ran out of gas before I reached my landing pad! And what's this I've landed on instead?
: A criminal, that's what! Please stand aside, Professor!
Vi calmly pushes aside Heimerdinger, and then pulls the unconscious Ezreal out of the rubble.
: Why my stars and comets! My new janitor! He's the felon!?
: Yes! He was using your prototypical Hex-tech Recording Device. We suspect he STOLE it!
: I DID hire him, but not for the recording device, he was supposed to be the new janitor for my lab. That means-
However, Vi cuts him off.
: Well then he really DID steal it! How long of a sentence are you figuring, Cupcake?
: I'd say about... Oh, I don't know yet. Let's just take him back and lock him up with Jinx already before she gets free and makes another mess.
: Agreed!
She lays the unconscious Ezreal across her shoulder, and then turns to Heimerdinger.
: By the way, we'll be charging you for the repairs right there on the roof. She points with her free hand at the hole in the roof his "landing" made
: What? Oh, very well...
She and Caitlyn then walk out back towards the entrance, passing Lucian's room along the way. Heimerdinger, who is following them, peeks his head in.
: Are you OK?
: Yes, yes. I believe I'm done crying now.
Quinn, having somehow heard it, shouts.
: FINALLY! CAN WE GO HOME NOW!?
