[CHAMPION SUGGESTION] Gemehdi - The fallen protector {NA-post}
This is my new champion Gemehdi - The fallen protector: Is he unique? yes most definitely. What makes him unique? He can manipulate terrain. Yes you read that correclty to be more precise he can create bushes (W) and temporarily destroy terrain (R). In this case I define terrain as bushes and any impassable walls (things like towers and nexusses are excluded). There's now champion in the game that can actually do this right now, bush creation is non-existent and terrain destruction is not even comparable to anything (the closest things would things like magical journey and Pillar of Ice). Apart from that his Q is also quite special as it's a new type of skillshot that isn't to complex however instead of using you as the starting point of the skillshot it uses terrain as the starting point.
A small description and background story Gemehdi is an ancient creature (demi-god/goddes) who was tasked with the protection of mother earth and therefor had control of most of her elements. However after a few billion years Gemehdi got sick of the arduous task and neglected his task. Mother earth started suffering because of the technology of the developed species spiraled out of control and lost all regard for her well being. Therefor Gemehdi's link with mother earth was severed, severely weakening and hurting Gemehdi. Now Gemehdi is furious and one of the oldest beings alive a few hundred of years are like hours to Gemehdi thus Gemehdi's anger will certainly not subside for the next hundred years. Gemehdi has set out to destroy all living beings on mother earth starting with the strongest. (it is on purpose that I don't use the words he or she, etc)
Gemehdi's abilities all have looks that implement nature, the Q can control stone/mud/plants, the W grows bushes, the E will look like water/stone/plant manipulation and the R destroys everything and can create fire.
I would reallylike to know what you think of him, what do you think about the ideas, what's good/nice/cool, what needs to be improved and what's bad. However please be constructive. Also I would be honored if someone would like to make a drawing of him or a story for him (or help with the story).
The numbers presented here are NOT final and require public feedback for proper balancing. However please give constructive feedback.

#Abilities:
Passive (innate), Oppresence : (yes I know it's not a real word) Whenever he is standing in a bush all his enemies in the same bush receive 20 (+4 per lvl)(+0.15 AP) per second and deal 10% less damage to you. (Passive area of effect, DOT)
Q, Deforming nature : A skillshot is fired after a small delay (~0.5 sec) from the edge of the nearest bush or wall to your cursor.(all impassable terrain) This line skillshot damages the first enemy hit for 55/110/175/230/285 (+0.7 AP) magic damage, all enemies after that receive 40% of the original damage. When you are inside a bush it can also be fire to the inside of the same bush. It will then start at the edge of the same bush. (Skillshot, when clicking on a point it will automatically select the closest terrain edge if available to shoot from. It will then shoot in the direction of your cursor)
CD: 9 seconds Cost: medium (50/55/60/65/70 mana) Range from terrain edge to end of line: 550 (~400-650) Cast range to be from terrain: 1000
W, Growing darkness You can select a target area to immediately grow a bush. Every (30/25/)25(/20/20) (~20-30) seconds you gain 1 stack (affected by CDR), you can have a maximum of 1/2/3/4/5 stacks). If two bushes overlap (original on map or not) then they will be considered as the same bush for your other spells. Bushes will perish through the use of your R or after 4 minutes. (Area of effect creating terrain)
CD: 2 seconds Cost: 95 mana + 1 stack (high) Range: 750 Radius field: ~125-200 (about 1.5-3 bushes in diameter)
E, Tipping the boiling point: After a small delay the area erupts and shoots up a bolt, knocking up champions hit for 1 second and damaging them for 50/90/130/170/210 (+0.5 AP) magic damage. (Area of effect with delay, small)
CD: 12 seconds Cost: medium (65 mana) Range: 800 Radius: ~living artillery (small-medium)
R, Perish This will perish everything hit, cast this spell on a small area (and after a small delay it will hit). Champions hit by this spell receive 125/200/275 (+0.85 AP) magic damage and be silenced for 2 seconds. Impassable terrain hit will be destroyed after 5 seconds it will regrow if it was original map terrain.
Bushes hit will be set on fire for 2 seconds and the fire will spread outwards to the rest of the brush (speed about 700-900 MS). When the bush is on fire it will deal 10/20/30 (+0.1 AP) magic damage per 0.25 seconds and set enemies on fire dealing 100/150/200 (+0.4 AP) magic damage over 3 seconds after leaving the fire. Original bushes belonging to the map will regrow 3 seconds after they have stopped burning. (when bushed are on fire they do NOT provide any fog of war) (Area of effect with delay)
CD: 36/28/20 seconds (~45-30/35-20/25-15) Cost: 100 mana Range: 750 Radius: ~brand pillar/orianna command attack/cassopeia miasma after 1 sec (should be able to create a passage through most walls if not all)
#General Gameplay I consider this champion primarly as an utility mage with some very powerfull utility packed in his skills to compensate a bit his cooldowns on Q and E are relatively high. Aside from his main role he might be playable in two other positions one as a support which is often a viable position for utility mages however he might also be playable as a jungler. As for his laning phase you'll be relatively weak early on, you'll need some points in a few abilities to properly harass the enemy on top of that you'll need some mana and CDR as well. Depending on what you want to do you can start out by places as many bushes as you can so that you can passively farm or you an try to harass your enemy a bit with Q while farming. Bushes cost a lot of mana to place this would mean that you would be OoM quite quickly while if you use your Q to harass and farm it might take a bit longer. Nonetheless after your first back if you placed a bunch of bushes before you should now have a much easier time farming. Once you have a few point in some of your abilities lvl 4/5 you should be able to make some decent trades. Now when you hit lvl 6 you will hit your first power spike, using it on an enemy that's outside a bush is not all that powerfull however if you can lure them in a bush and then use the ability you can actually deal huge chunk of damage. A great combo against a single enemy would be to get them in a bush use your E to knock them up making Q unavoidable directly followed by an R, damaging with it's normal damage and inflicting a burn it will also make the enemy unable to flash for two seconds.
Now during the rest of the game this character can provide use zone control and utility for it's team. Bushes will be slightly feared because of his R and his passive. He can set-up amazing zones around baron or dragon and he has a knock-up and silence. During teamfights he can either go on clean-up duty or try to burst down a target. Nonetheless he's a champion who likes long teamfights or teamfights where he got to set up the area beforehand. In teamfights he will first try to poke down enemy with his long range before getting closer to finish him off.
When playing this champion it's important to keep the following in mind even though using and understanding his abilities is relatively easy he will be really hard to master. The Q is a bit different so it will need some getting used to. The W is a different story it's really easy to use but can be used within a range from stupid to amazing, you have to keep in mind that these still act like normal bushes. This means that they can still be used by the enemy to provide them with a fog of war advantage. His ult (R) has many different uses and can normally only be used once in a teamfight (except for the really extended ones). When and how to use it will be a key factor for mastering this champion. Apart from all that it is also important to understand that he's a slower moving champion and has no dashes, blink or defensive abilities (Passive 10% excluded). This means if an enemy gets to you that you'll most likely die especially if your abilities are on cooldown.
It's obvious that this champion has high cooldowns therefore CDR is a good option on him. Another very powerfull item is Rylai's this makes you way harder to kill and you slow everyone that's in the same bush down by 20% (40% would be too strong).
#Thoughts and explanation behind abilities: Passsive: This ability works well in combination with your W and should scare people to enter your domain of darkness. This a very powerfull ability and encourages you stay inside bushes if possible. This actually deals a decent amount of damage and using this correctly in combination with your W is very important to your gameplay.
Q: This is your main harass tool although it might be a little bit hard to hit (I have not yet decided if it should have a small delay or should be slow). When you and an enenmy are inside a bush this should normally be easier to hit since the edges should be closer than an enemy would normally be standing to terrain.
W: This in combination with R are the defining features of this champion. Being able to create bushes is powerful but you'll have to be smart about it since enemies might try to ambuse them. This can be used in lane to increase your farming potential and passively farm. It's also necessary if your enemies keep to far away from terrain making it impossible for you to hit them.
E: This is your tool to set up powerful combos, the damage is ok but what's more important is the knock-up providing peel and utility. The cooldown is rather long thus use it carefully. The thing is in emergency case it could be used to save your life from a gank if you missed it before and are ganked afterwards there's a big chance you'll die.
R: Your bread and butter providing a huge amount of utility and nice damage. This ability is on a rather short cooldown for an ultimate thus the damage also had to be lower. Nonetheless hitting a champion who is already in a bush with this ability will deal pretty crazy amounts of damage especially if they are knocked up at the same moment or just before. This skill will show your mastery of this champion and also the game in general a bit.
#Story: Gemehdi creature of olds was tasked with Mother nature and her elements a few millenia after first live inhabitated her. His tasks was simple to protect her for all eternity from her inhabitants and all forces dark. However after a few billion years Gemehdi got sick of the arduous task and started neglecting it. In the beginning all was well and nothing really happened Gemehdi lived in peace and enjoyed his life travelling and spending his time how he wanted to. However as some of the species living on Mother earth started becoming more intelligent and developing technology she started suffering. Their technologies helped them quickly become more dominant as a species and improved their lifes. However these technologies were also extremely harmfull to Mother earth especially when their number kept increasing rapidly as well as advancing their technology. It is then that Gemehdi was considered inadequate and thus Gemehdi's link with mother earth was severed, severely weakening and hurting Gemehdi. Now Gemehdi is furious and one of the oldest beings alive a few hundred of years are like hours to Gemehdi thus Gemehdi's anger will certainly not subside for the next hundred years. In his anger Gemehdi has lost all sight of the future feeling betrayed by everyone. The emotional far outweighing the physical pain Gemehdi is lost both in mind and purpose. Now Gemehdi has set out to destroy all living beings on mother earth starting with the strongest. Being able to sense the strength of creatures live force Gemehdi was able to find a high concentration of strong life forces it was then that he found the League...

#Looks of the abilities: Passsive: When you are in a bush the bush will be darker colored for all that are inside.
Q: From walls a pillar of mud/stone grows and shoots out of the wall. For a bush a vine (pointy) will grow and shoot out of the terrain. For champion created terrain it will be something according to the element the wall is made from. So for trundle pillar and anivia wall it will be ice.
W: A slightly darker bush is grown at target area
E: The floor/water/bush starts cracking and bubbling/boiling and bubbling/rustling then after a small delay an eruption of magma/steam/plants happens.
R: A flash that disintegrates magic/walls or that start a fire.

Updates: 20-12-2015 A small delay has been added to Q. The duration time of bushes has been set to 4 minutes. E damage has been lowered to 50/90/130/170/210 (+0.5 AP) from 60/105/150/195/240 (+0.5 AP) magic damage. The CD of R has been increased to 36/28/20 from 34/26/18 seconds.
