Legacy Skins, Player Profile Customization, and Champ Design
Dear Riot,
First off, I would like to say that I enjoy League very much and I am very pleased with the game and the work that you have put into it. I love this game. However, I was unable to create a profile and play at home on a computer of my own until Gnar was released since this was when I finally had a computer and internet to support the game. Since then, I have finished college and now have a stable job and a better computer and internet, so I play more, and also have had more money to spend on the game from time-to-time. What attracts me most to the game are the champions, skins, artwork, chromas, and lore. As a casual in game (primarily playing unranked, as I feel that ranked takes away from the fun a bit as I prefer the gameplay to be less serious), I just had a few questions/suggestions from a more casual mind that enjoys the universe of the game, rather than just the in-game gameplay aspect.

Legacy Skins: I have collected A LOT of skins over time. For me, owning the various skins is my equivalent of owning a card collection. (My favorite skin archtypes are PROJECT and Battlecast, and I hope to see more of them in the future, or maybe some chromas for the PROJECT skins focusing on the particle color pallets, i.e. Master Yi has a yellow pallet, but a chroma could include Red effects like Zed, or Blue like Ash). However, there are A LOT of legacy skins that I am unable to obtain since they existed before I was able to play the game. I like that you are creating carbon reworks, such as championship riven, PAX Sivir, and Urfwick, as well as various events where legacy skins can become more easily obtainable (such as during order and chaos event, or when they appear in the store for a limited time during Worlds). However, there are 3 skins in particular that I would REALLY like to see carbon copies or chances to obtain: Rusty Blitzcrank, UFO Corki, and above all, KING Rammus. The reason that I bring up these 3 is that Rust Blitzcrank was pulled due to poor reception, UFO Corki was a giveaway for a voting participation, and KING Rammus was given out to Beta testers during the game's conception. I really hope that these 3 skins can become accessible for newer players, as I think they are 3 of the coolest skins (yes, even Rusty Blitzcrank, its artwork is amazing) as maybe carbon copies like Urfwick.

Player Profile Customization: Between summoner icons and the various skins and chromas and emotes, there are plenty of in-game ways to customize you as a player. However, I believe that in most games, player profiles are a cool way to show one's uniqueness. Currently, there is the dynamic background (which seems to alternate between my highest mastery champion, or most recently played, I don't really understand why), and the special backgrounds that come with equipping certain icons, such as pulsefire Ezreal or DJ Sona icons. There are some champions that have suffered throughout the course of the game as their kits become outdated or they are not viable for ranked unless a patch comes out to bring them back (Aatrox, Dr. Mundo, Master Yi), where it may be hard to have them constantly as your highest mastery champ for a background on your player profile for them because you play ranked other champions more often due to their viability (those JG mains with pics of Gragas because he is almost a consistent JG pick throughout ranked and competitive, while J4 falls in and out or becomes better top lane, but you really would prefer J4) I know that this may not be that important to some (or maybe most) other players, but I was wondering if the background of our profiles could some day become more customizable. Some suggestions would be: selecting a splash art of any champion/champion skin that you own (because honestly, there would be a picture of PROJECT Yi in my background), and even Lore based artwork that can be unlocked in store, such as pictures of Bandle City, the architecture of Ionia, clashes of Demacia and Noxus, Mount Targon, the expanse of the desert of Shurima (the rising of the city from the sand comes to mind when Azir was released), or several of the other DEV artwork throughout the years that have been popular with fans and the community. Basically, a little more to spice up looking at our profiles and making them feel more like OUR profiles that show our uniqueness.

Champion design: The champions that are currently in the game all feel unique and yet at the same time, like they belong to the universe. I applaud your design teams and look forward to each unique champion that is released. However, I feel as though there is a lack of non-humanoid characters in the game. Truthfully, I am more drawn to champions that stick out and therefore are more inclined to try them. Looking through each of the different champion classes, most of them are humanoids. I understand that the design is easier and the champions are easier to balance and create kits for (skarner has fallen on and off overpowered and underpowered for a long time, and took awhile to really find a place where he feels balanced after his rework as a Juggernaut and the subsequent tweaks to reign in his power after. I know that recently there have been more unique champions as opposed to humanoids ( Vel'Koz, Rek'sai, and Aurelion Sol, along with Anivia, Cho, and Skarner feeling the least humanoid, while Corki flies a plane, Rumble commands a mech, Sejuani rides a boar, Nunu rides a yeti, and Kled rides a lizard, and which is unique), and I am hoping to see more attempts at either full-fledged non-humanoid champions, or more transforming champions into non-humanoid forms (like Nidalee, Elise, Shyvanna, and Swain). Additionally, I like the rotating game modes (Urf being my favorite, though I preferred picking my champ instead of random), and I like how some tie in with the lore of characters or skins. The new Star Guardians mode is awesome. However, I was wondering if more lore-based modes could come into play in the future, such as faction wars (Demacia vs Noxus, Ionia vs Zaun), territory themed map modes (like the Freljord or Shurima and their characters), or even more skin based game modes (have a lot of pirate skins, could make a battle mode of gangplank's ship vs miss fortune's ship, where any pirate/cutthroat related skins for characters are the champions that are used as the crew and trying to sink enemy ship by boarding and destroying nexus, and activated map items like cannons could come into play). I know that these would be ambitious, but after seeing and playing Star Guardians, it definitely inspired some hopes of more game modes like this, as well as these game modes returning.
As a final note, these are 3 topics that I have thought about during my time playing this wonderful game, and since I do really enjoy the game that you have created, the reason that I brought these up is simply because I want the game to continue to grow and I feel that these are a few areas that, as a more casual, less competitive player, could be considered down the road. Honestly, I have never cared enough about a game or topic to EVER post or even comment online before, so I really hope this is in the right place for Riot to see this. Thank you again, and keep up the good work on an amazing game.
