New Splash Art to Old Skins

Hi I was just wondering everyone's thoughts on this. This has been bothering me so I hope I get some sort of Rioter feed back. I have many skins for almost all my champions and a lot of them have received new updated splash arts. Most of them I find very nice and even better than the old ones. However, there are a couple that I just really do not like. Aviator Irelia is one of these skins. Part of the reason I buy skins obviously is for how they look in game but also because I enjoy the art and am a big art lover. I really feel though that if riot is going to replace the art on a skin that you pay your hard earned money for there should be an option when it comes out for if you want to keep the old splash art or take the new splash art. I dislike the new splash art for aviator Irelia so much it actually discourages me from playing her now because I think 'I can't believe I paid money for something that they went and changed partially to something different' even if it doesn't affect the in game model it is still different from Some skins I have even bought because I loved the art and some that I liked before and planned on buying I ended up not getting due to it getting updated to something I no longer liked. Of course like I said there are many other new ones I adore. The new Nidalee art for Snow Bunny and the Leopard for example are really pretty and I enjoy them a lot more than the old ones. I just feel like if we spend money on content we should have the right and option to choose what we see if a new art is offered.
