Zyklus was a key person in the incident that sunk Zaun many years ago. Zyklus' suit was the trigger mechanism for the explosives for the controlled demolition. Whether it was sabotage or a misfire from faulty equipment doesn't change what happened that day. A controlled demolition turned into an chain reaction of violent explosions that sunk Zaun deep into the trench. Zyklus was on the forefront of the explosions, the heat and pressure permanently sealing his suit and flesh into one piece. Zyklus fell deep into the chasm, awakening far away in the land of Ionia. Zyklus suit was designed to keep the occupant alive while digging deep within the earth. Unfortunately this function kicked into overdrive while Zyklus' flesh melted into the seams. Now the magical energy that powered the suit keeps Zyklus perpetually alive. As time passed, Zyklus rage became resentment. He would come to one conclusion. To finally face death, he must find a way to exhaust his power supply.


Innate - Brackern Cybernetics

Zyklus uses energy. If energy is spent to deal damage to an enemy Zyklus briefly gains shields based off that damage.

Q - Etch

Zyklus activates the digging lasers in his suit to damage all enemies in target direction. Beam moves with Zyklus. Reactivate to cancel.

W - Magic Missile

Zyklus fires two missiles after a short delay in target direction. Missiles slow enemies hit. Enemies hit by multiple missiles are grounded.

E - Demolition Crew

Zyklus sends remote explosives to target location. Explosives last for 5 minutes. Zyklus can have a maximum of 1/2/3/4/5 charges planted. Can destroy terrain. Charges that last for more than 2 seconds will knockup enemies on top of them.

R - Triggerlock

Passive : Zyklus gains more Energy.

First Activation : Zyklus will delay any spells cast after Triggerlock. Spells cooldown twice as fast but cost 2x the energy. Maximum delay is four seconds.

Second Activation : Zyklus will cast all spells delayed by Triggerlock. Additional effects based off what spells are delayed.

Etch - All spells become targeted. Magic Missile - All spells have a stacking slow. Demolition Crew - All spells superheat after two seconds of activation, dealing a % of the damage as true damage.


The key point of this champion is properly managing Triggerlock. It is possible with the purchases in CDR to have multiple copies of the same spell delayed. Which spells you delay and how many copies you do will change what you have accomplished with your energy pool. Etch and Demolition Crew can provide excellent DPS but without the slow from Magic Missile you could possibly have your enemies run from you.

I like the concept all in all. However most energy champions have a way of gaining energy e.g Kennen's "Lightning Rush" grants energy the first time a champion is damaged. An energy based mage seems really cool though. Cool champion! God bless!
