Lied, The Song of Passion

Close your eyes and fall asleep
I don't want to hear one more peep
I have waited far too long
To not hear the church bell tong

You saw through my well laid disguise
And went about stalling my rise
Now fall away as I sing along
This lie of a simple love song

You simply failed to hear my speach
But my music managed to reach
So I sing with all my heart
Till death do we part

Lied is pretty much the poster boy for a bard. He's a cheerful and eternally upbeat violist traveling the land and bringing couples together as you would expect from a love god. He is, however, mortal, and isn't even using magic. His natural charm, slight Germanic accent, and innate musical skill allow him to bring others together.

There is exactly one exception, and it's the most poignant to him: Sona. He doesn't dare sing his songs and bring someone to her as he, himself, fancies her. This unrequited love brings him to the rift in hopes that his effort will be rewarded eventually.

Despite his outgoing appearance and his reflection of moralistic ideals, he is not as he seems. Much like the person he desires, he would not speak to those around him. He, unlike her, can- so he does, easily manipulating them and leading towards destructive ends from outside suspicion.

His name is a perfect representation of that. While he easily explains it away as meaning Song, it speaks of how everything he says, does, and accomplishes is, more or less, a ruse.

Lied would be a ranged, highly mobile, and moderately tanky support style champion. Just figured I'd mention that since I don't feel like drawing up stats at the moment.

Passive: Broken Promises - Whenever Lied is attacked by an enemy champion before he damages them, the enemy is marked with 'Promise Of Better'. While marked, they deal 20% less damage to Lied. When he attacks them, however, the mark is consumed and they take 20% more damage from the effect per unique instance of damage the mark reduced.

Q: Drift Away - Lied passively gains 25% increased movement speed while an enemy champion within 800 units is charmed. Actively, Lied gains 20% movement speed while moving away from enemy champions for 12 seconds. Has a 30 second cooldown and costs 50 MP.

W: Passing Fancy - Lied plays his viola and sings a short tune. If at least 2 enemy champions are within 500 units of him for the entire 2 second song, they are all charmed and move towards one another for 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2 seconds. This has no cooldown, but costs 80 MP and cannot be cast until the song ends. During the song, Lied is disarmed.

E: Empty Mind - Passively, slows on Lied are increased in duration by 1 second. Decay/growth functions as though the ordinary duration was 1 second higher. Actively, however, Lied breaks free from all CC and gains immunity to it for 2/2.5/3/3.5/4. Has a 15 second cooldown and costs 60/65/70/75/80 MP.

R: Fall Apart - Lied lets out an impassioned shanty and brings the team together by charming everyone within 800 units for 3 seconds. This ignores tenacity and CC negation. During those 3 seconds, Lied is stuck in a channel which cannot be interrupted. After the 3 seconds, all ability cooldowns for affected champions are reset , their HP and MP are maximized, and all other lasting effects are removed. Has a 210/180/150 second cooldown but costs nothing.
