stinger item suggestions
This post is to discuss item change suggestions surrounding stinger
. I was just brainstorming ideas with my brother after seeing the triforce
change on PBE on how to expand the stinger build path and this is what we came up with. On a side note, not a fan of the triforce change.
Phantom Dancer
: stinger
(1200) + zeal
(1300) + 300 = 2800 total
65% attack speed
5% move speed
10% CDR
20% crit chance
UNIQUE – SPECTRAL WALTZ: Grants ghosting and +7% movement speed while within 500 units of a visible enemy champion.
UNIQUE – LAMENT: Grants 3% damage reduction on hit against the last enemy champion hit (ends after 10 seconds out-of-combat ; stacks up to 4 times).
I believe this would be a good change to Phantom Dancer because it is supposed to be the "go to" zeal item for attack speed. 20% attack speed and 10% CDR would be a big buff but in exchange i suggest a nerf on the crit chance, lament passive and the overall cost of the item.
Wit's End
: stinger
(1200) + negatron cloak
(720) + 680 = 2600
40 magic resist
50% attack speed
10% CDR
UNIQUE: +40 on-hit magic damage
UNIQUE: Basic attacks (on-hit) grant +5 magic resistance and reduce the target's magic resistance by 5 for 5 seconds. Stacks up to 5 times for a total of +25 magic resistance and 25 magic resistance reduction.
I believe this would be a good change to Wit's End as it is currently a niche item and doesn't get to see much play. This would hopefully bring it back into balance with a small attack speed buff and the addition of CDR. Additionally, the current Wit's End's build path feels awful until you finish the item. The components feel weak and the combine cost is MASSIVE so you sit on the components for a long time. Now i understand that the on hit passive is supposed to come from the recurve bow
but i feel that recurve bow already has enough build paths and this post is to suggest new ones for stinger and the on hit is IMO core to Wit's End (Nashor's Tooth
has a similar passive so...).
Just a reminder that these are only suggestions and i'd love to hear feedback on them. Thanks for checking out my post!
