Changing Ranked Series?

Just an idea but hear me out on this...

Aren’t you tired of grinding so hard to hit your promos to climb to next rank or next tier only to be trolled by people obviously not trying their very hardest. What if ranked search queue got an update that all it does is just make it where it prioritizes players who are all in a series to play with one another, but if after a minute after the estimated queue time passes, it can go back to regular ranked search queue.

I feel it would make ranked series more competitive and really make an impact on the people actually trying to climb, actually further progressing skill and pushing harder for skill expression.
