Manaless adc idea!
All current adcs in League of Legends are restricted by mana, it's about time for a manaless adc showed the rift what he is made of. I'm going to refer to my idea as sergeant X (I dont care what riot plans to call this guy as long as his name begins with sergeant). First off, lets talk appearance. I do have a picture of him in my mind (for a while now actually) but I suck at drawing and animating so Ima describe him. Sergeant X is very tough looking. He is in a modern military uniform. Wields a standard military rifle (with grenade launcher). Fingerless gloves, military grade boots, cap, and of course SHADES. In short hes the modern version of graves. We ll skip the lore (sergeant, battlefield, brave blah blah blah) and go right to his abilities. I have thought super long and hard about these, hear me out, i think he ll work GREAT.
Passive: limited ammo: Seargent X is not restricted by mana, instead his resource bars fill up with his current ammo. The amount of ammo per reload scales with bonus attack speed. Everytime he uses a basic attack, one bullet leaves the ammo bar, when he is empty, he must reload. Reloading: After Sergeant X has been out of combat for 5 seconds, his ammo bar automatically refills. When he runs empty during combat, he gains X% movement speed and all his abilities deal 1.5X damage for 3 seconds, He cannot auto attack during the reloading action which takes 2 seconds.
Q: Burst fire: Toggle on: basic attacks uses 3 ammo at a time to fire 3 bullets to one target. The first bullet does normal damage the second and third bullets do 10/20/30/40/50% of Sergeant X's AD.
W: Grenade launcher: Fires a grenade from Sergeant X's rifle, deals X/X/X/X/X damage + AP % and slows targets hit by X% for X seconds targets in the centre of the blast is stunned for X seconds.
E: Tactical retreat: Sergeant X dashes quickly to the cursor location, he also leaves a C4 at his previous location, the bomb remains there for 60 seconds or detonates when an enemy unit steps on it. Dealing X/X/X/X/X damage + bonus AD %
R: Air strike: (global) Sergeant X Calls for a precise air strike. Dealing X/X/X + bonus AD % to the targeted area.
Discussion: If you build attack speed like most adcs do, his ammo will run out REALLY fast, thats why we have his ammo scale with attack speed to compensate for that weakness. His Q also makes him OOA (out of ammo) really fast, so take care when using that to harass/trade in lane (DEFINITELY DONT USE THAT TO FARM, u ll shove lane way too hard and run OOA.) His W is great for playmaking or retreating. Especially when u need to retreat a gank or when u run OOA. Synergize with ur supp's cc and u guys will do great. I imagine riot won't want to put too high of a range on his W and E thats understandable, since he is Op enough already to be manaless, wouldn't want him spamming abilities from afar. (I imagine long cds too, again totally understandable.) Ult, same thing gonna have a long cd, super op aoe dmg and global! HOLY! Imagine if he is out of ammo and uses ult with the reloading passive dmg!! nuff said. To have success with this adc, u gotta keep an eye on ur ammo bar, stratigize when u want to step out of lane to get that instant reload (maybe go ward while ur at it #multitask) or when u want to intentonally run empty and use that speed up and 1.5X dmg abilities to win fights (totally viable way to approach fights). Carefully use q in lane because it does drain ammo pretty dam fast. But by all means running out of ammo is definately not a bad thing for u cuz u basically get free dmg and movement speed, use this dmg and speed to kite with ur abilities while reloading. After u finish reloading u still enjoy one more second of speed and dmg on ur abilities (chase for kill or run even more). The out of ammo speed synergize really well with E to act as a getaway and to extra dmg to your pursuers. Stun em up and turn around (when finished reloading of course) for the manliest kill ever. Suggest using ult towards the end of a teamfight, U have ran out of ammo (extra damage) and opponents are relatively low and still grouped. (pentakill) lol jk its not that free but maybe. U have an escape with follow up dmg, thats pretty op, so do save it for when there are ppl chasing/focusing u.
