The Puppet Master
Champion Concept: Drossel, The Puppet Master. The skills would be based around controlling a puppet that could change depending on your needs. The passive would change with the puppet. The ultimate would be able to change the puppet currently in use, when you level up you can power up one of the puppets, like Kha'Zix's ultimate, but you could power up the puppet more than once. Their would be 3 types of puppets, now this is just a base concept, but they would be the basics: melee, magic, and defense. You could focus on one type, so that would limit your other types or you could become a jack-of-all-trades type but not have any type of strength.
The Q,W,E skills would depend on the puppet in use. The melee puppet would scale off of AD, magic off of AP, and defense off of Health. The scaling ratios would not be to high as to help handicap the different types of damage due to the versatility. The ultimate's cool down would be a around 30+ seconds or a little less as to not make it convenient to switch in your time of need and actually think what puppet you might need soon.
The passives, these are just ideas, melee could do bonus basic attack damage; magic would have cool down reduction or do a scaling amount of magic damage after every few spell casts; and defense would give increased health regeneration or something along the lines of defensive.
Now the Q,W,E skills are open up for suggestions but I will brainstorm away!
Q: Melee-Rip: Slice a deep gouge in a opponent, increasing damage done to them for the next few seconds. Magic-Pierce: Shoot a magical needle in a line that reduces magic resistance for the next few seconds and does damage. Defense-Crush: Crush your opponent dealing damage based on your health.
W: Melee-Shred: Perform 3 quick, damaging cuts that shred the target's armor for the next few seconds. Magic-Weave: Weave a magical net over 1 second that stuns the first 2 enemies hit and deal damage. Defense-Dark Ward: The next enemy that strikes you is blinded for 1+ seconds.
E: Melee-Rend: Cleave your foe, dealing damage based on their missing health. Magic-Bedlam: Cause your foe to lose control for 1+ seconds and deal decreased damage over the duration. Defense-Dauntless: Take decreased damage for several seconds and send some back as physical or magical damage depending on what was used.
R: Melee- Upgrading increases skill damage for melee skill set; maxing gives a bleed effect to them. Magic- Upgrading increases magic penetration; maxing gives a boost in AP. Defense- Upgrading increases tenacity; maxing increases Magic and Armor by a set amount.
The theme I was hoping for would be darker and gothic. The puppets themselves would have a grim and ghastly look to them and each would have a special design and sound to them. Once you max them, their look could change also. Any suggestions would be welcome and if you can think up of better skill suggestions then do so. Lore: In the early days of Shaco's work when he was still unknow, he took notice of a young man, Drossel. Drossel Mortem lived in an aristocratic family that had acquired many enemies over time. Drossel was the perfect child and displayed the traits needed to take over the Mortem family. By 19, Drossel had a curiosity that had been growing inside him since his mother died when he was younger; did people simply die or did they have a spirit? He collected grimoires and studied the dark arts and finally learned the invocations to capture a soul. One day, he went to the cellar of his home and brought with him a beautifully crafted doll with midnight hair and expensive clothing. He prepared the ritual and invoked the spirit Alisa, his mother, so even after death she would protect him always. When he was 21 Drossel had become well versed in the dark arts, but was constantly lectured by his on the ways of business and his responsibilities when he would become head of the household, so he had no time to practice his power on more human victims. One evening when Drossel was being lectured, a strange figure suddenly appeared behind his father and quickly slit his throat then turned and appeared in front of Drossel. Right as he was about to strike, both of them made eye contact. Shaco could see the potential... and darkness of the young man. He started laughing and Shaco introduced himself and made a proposal; "become my prodigy, or see what it feels like to die. I heard it was quite the lively experience!" Drossel saw the opportunity show itself in Shaco's twisted, demented smile and so he took it. Drossel joined the League in hopes of becoming more powerful and one day capture his mentor's soul.
