A Suggestion On The Hextech Currency System.
Hey, it's one of those players. Recently there was an update that introduced hextech crafting to the game. Meaning when players did good, they got rewarded. When someone on your team also does good, you also get rewarded (sometimes as it becomes less and less common the more you get). There is one problem though. The problem is not getting the chests or keys, but the hard part is getting the currency needed to upgrade shards into the actual item. Now you can buy the chests in the store for a hefty amount or RP, but not many people that I know in the community buy chests from the store. This makes the chests almost close to useless and even more so disappointing.I suggest that essence is like ip but more based on performance like receiving the chests are based on.Say one gets a penta, usually they just get a fancy symbol an a loud voice in their ears excitedly announcing "PENTAKILL!". Now this is all for show however. Let's say that they do get a penta and the system i have in mind is implemented, or at least close to it, they should be rewarded with maybe 25 blue essence. This is a reasonable amount for a penta. A kill could be 1, and 2 assists could also be equal to one. Supports may say that this is unfair to them because assists are 1/2 of essence, however they are wrong. If they auto attacked the enemy team at least one, they get an assist for every measly attack that they put in. The graphs at the end of all games are interesting, but they serve no purpose other than amusement for the player or to sate the curiosity of the statistical pupil. For the highest overall combat and stuff like that, they should be rewarded for the impact that they have made on the game. 5 is also a reasonable amount for this. I believe that I speak for the league community (at least the ones who can't buy RP to get bonus essence) when i say that we need essence for the chests to be worth anything.
Plz Rito give us Essence and reason for Hextech.
Sincerely, Dynamotion
