Elekos: The Embodiment of Lightning

My idea for a champion "Elekos: The Embodiment of Lightning":

Roles: Primary: Mage Secondary: Assassin Lane(s): Mid, Bottom (ADC)

Stats:

Health: 516 (+80/lvl, 1876 at lvl 18) Mana: 282.2 (+47/lvl, 1081.2 at lvl 18) Attack Damage: 52.04 (+3/lvl, 106.04 at lvl 18) Attack Speed: 0.687 (+3%/lvl, 1.037 at lvl 18) Armour: 24.8 (+3.3/lvl, 84.2 at lvl 18) Magic Resist: 30 (+0/lvl, 30 at lvl 18) Movement Speed: 330 Range: 550

Personality: Elekos is a very confident champion, similar to Draven and Katarina, but acts like two different personalities, positive and negative, just like what she is, a battery. She does come through though where it counts and is a reliable, smart champion.

Quotes: Select: "This battle will be electrifying!" Taunt: "This fight will be down to the wire, until I show up of course!" Attacking/Moving: "Don't be scared, I'm just here for some fun!" Attacking/Moving: "You're dead to me." Attacking/Moving: "I will charge you with an ample amount of volts" (If you know electricity, this pun should make sense) Attack/Moving: "I'm gonna give you a shock!" On Kill: "Did your screen have static, summoner?" (breaks fourth wall XD)

Abilities: Passive: Duel Field (Cooldown: 180 seconds) When Elekos' health declines below 40% of her maximum health, she creates a 500 unit radius around her, dealing 25/37.5/50 magic damage every 0.25 seconds, and enemies may not leave the range until they take 200/300/400 damage.

Q: Lightning Orbs (Mana Cost: 60/70/80/90/100, Cooldown: 12/11/10/9/8, Range: 600) Elekos creates an orb at a target location, dealing 50/110/170/230/290 (+70% Ability Power) magic damage and slows enemies by 25/35/45/55/65% for 1/1.25/1.5/1.75/2 second(s) when spawned, and deals 25/35/45/55/65 (+20% Ability Power) magic damage every second for 4 seconds.

W: Override/Power Store (Switch Cooldown: 5 seconds at all ranks) Toggle On: Override: Adds 30/35/40/45/50% of Elekos' Ability Power as magic damage to basic attacks. Toggle Off: Power Store: Grants Elekos 5/7.5/10/12.5/15% bonus Spell Vamp.

E: Thunder Surge (Mana Cost: 90/95/100/105/110, Cooldown: 20/18/16/14/12 seconds) Elekos summons a bolt of piercing lightning, dealing 100/150/200/250/300 (+80% Ability Power) magic damage, and stuns and hits up to 3 enemies. Enemies hit are stunned for 0.4/0.6/0.8/1/1.2 second(s).

R: Electron Blast (Mana Cost: 100/120/140, Cooldown: 120/100/80 seconds) Elekos becomes her "Spirit" form, dealing 400/600/800 (+100% Ability Power) magic damage to an enemy champion. After this, she gains 50/60/70% of her Ability Power as Bonus Ability Power for 3 spell casts, is killed, or after 10 seconds.

Sorry, but her passive is crazy OP, and her late game damge is way to high. The damage on the ult is crazy as well. 1.2 ap ratio+ 800 ap at lvl 16 could be 2000 damage. That's way to high because she has so much poke as well

Hi Gamer25, I like lighting champions, Your champion looks very powerful.

But first of all, I really recommend that you start by defining her personality and motivation. Yeah I know it's long and lots of people don't read it but it's the foundation of all characters and it will determine how you will design your champion. For example, Draven is about vanity and all his moves have this flashy over the top feel. Talon is an assassin, silent, hidden and deadly. These qualities really help to narrow down the abilites but the most important part is that it gets sympathy for your character which is the most important part. Players want to feel an emotional attachment to their character and just giving a generic fighter/mage/thief feels boring. Give Elekos emotions! Give her a motivation! Give her a personality! and the rest will be much easier.

As for your gameplay, you didn't say if she's a ranged or melee :^)

In my opinion. You should either make her a Mage OR an AP assassin and reinforce her role in either, it makes gameplay more interesting. I think Elekos could work better as an AP melee assassin but you need to tweak her abilities so that she does burst damage instead of sustained DPS. Also If she's a melee assassin you really need to give her a dash or a jump! My only real problem is your E. It would be ok if you were a solo player but in team fights it is super overpowered as you just stunned the entire enemy team for 1.3 seconds with 1 button press at level 5 from far away. Instant ace.
