I know you don't like to use champ concepts from fans but please please use this A zen monk with the passive: after X seconds out of combat health and mana equalize (point for point or % for%) Is a lane bully not with killing but just driving them out of lane by draining their mana
It's unlikely that they'll bring a mana drain mechanic back into the game. Wit's end used to drain mana on hit, and it proved to be a very...toxic mechanic to play against. Someone could have wits end and pure attack speed items, and they'd still be able to win fights; not because of the damage, but because it made it impossible for certain champions to retaliate without mana. I like the passive idea, but the mana drain part is a nightmare.
