Good Neighboor Comments: Delyora - The Starheart Blacksmith - By: CRYOATIC01

Number’s are kind of filler, though I did spend some time on them, they need to be looked at, so take them with a grain of salt!!

If there are significant problems with current #’s pls comment and let me know.

STATS & OTHER ESSENTIALS

Roles Primary Role: Marksman
Secondary Role: Skirmisher

Stats - {lvl 1 - lvl 18} HP - 540 - 1900 MP - 290 - 910 HP5 - 5.7 - 16 MP5 - 6 - 19.6 Melee - 125 Armor - 23 - 81 Magic Resist - 30 Movement Speed - 345 Attack Damage - 54 - 91 Attack Speed - 0.635 ( +4% per lvl) Attack Range: Melee - (125) units Ranged - (125 - 600) units

ABILITIES

Passive - Weapon Proficiency Theara uses her two weapons based on the distance the target is from her.

Melee (0 - 125 units) - Seeker’s Daggers When Theara uses her daggers she gains Animosity.

Animosity Attack Speed - (10, 15, 20%) {lvl - 6, 11, 16}

Range (125 - 550 units) - Seeker’s Shortbow When Theara uses her bow she gains Sought, which causes her to gain movement speed towards those she auto attacks.

Sought Movement Speed - (15, 20, 25%) {lvl - 6, 11, 16} Sought Duration - (2.5 seconds)

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY After wanting to make an ADC type character for a long time, I noticed that most ranged weapons were already taken by the current adc’s: Twitch’s crossbow, Ashe’s bow, Cait’s rifle, and so on. Then I saw Jayce, he had his Mercury Hammer and Cannon, and at Jinx with her Machine Gun and Rocket launcher. I thought, why not another two weapon ADC/Fighter. I found the idea of making one of her basic spells or her ultimate a “swap” ability to clunky.

Q - Puncture Active - Theara throws a dagger in a target direction dealing physical damage and applying a bleed.

Cooldown - (8, 7, 6, 5, 4) seconds Mana Cost - (40) mana Initial Damage - (30, 40, 50, 60, 70 + 0.6 AD) Bleed Damage - (10, 15, 20, 25, 30 + 0.3 AP) Speed - (Teemo Q) Range - (600) units Width - (35) units

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY An average designed ability to give Theara more potential in strong trades. The bleed and on-hit effects which give it value and a feel that it is actually a dagger. Think Teemo Q, but a skillshot (oh gawd).

W - Seeker’s Determination Active - Theara MUST sprint to target location gaining additional movement speed and unaffected by CC.

Cooldown - (22, 20, 18, 16, 14) seconds Mana Cost - (90) mana Movement Speed Modifier - (40, 45, 50, 55, 60%) Range - (450) units

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY This Ability work similarly to Kled’s ult but with a far shorter range and faster speed. This fits her concept well, more towards the bull headed seeker than the intelligent hunter side though, for it gives her a non-blink escape ability. This provides her with an escape and a gap closer, but due to it’s CD when she goes in or when she gets away, she can’t go back.

E - Seeker’s Vision Passive - Theara can see champions that are moving in brush within her vision range.

Active - Theara’s vision becomes narrowed in front of her (Cone Shape), but it becomes True Vision and gives her vision through/over everything {Blinds, Bushes, Walls, Terrain}.

Cooldown - (30, 28, 26, 24, 22) seconds Mana Cost - (0) mana Duration - (4, 5, 6, 7, 8) seconds Vision Arc - (50 Degrees) (25 Degrees in both directions from directly in front of her) Vision Length (Radius/Length) - (5, 10, 15, 20, 25%) increase from normal

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY A more fitting ability for a hunter/roguish character than her W. This ability in both passive and active give Theara great awareness. This Passive is great at nullifying lane ganks or noticing a pacing jungler in the river. Her active is a very strong vision treat, this makes her very good to pick up if your support is an all AP Brand, Vel, etc...

R - Attrition of the Sought Active - Theara reduces an enemy champion’s vision, and movement speed every time she hits them. She also provides herself with Animosity & Sought.

Cooldown - (160, 140, 120) seconds Mana Cost - (100) mana Movement Speed Reduction - (4.25, 4.5, 4.75%) per hit Vision Reduction - (2%) per hit Duration - (6, 7, 8) seconds Range (for targeting) - (600) units Animosity Attack Speed - (15, 20, 25%) Sought Movement Speed - (15, 20, 25%)

DESIGN PHILOSOPHY Theara uses this ability to cling to an enemy champion. It may be cleansed and QSS’d but the Animosity and Sought do not wear off until the end of the duration. This ultimate ability is extremely strong in hunting down targets which other ADC’s would lose.

GENERALIZED GAMEPLAY

OVERALL - Very clingy ranged/melee champion, when she “seeks” you it’s incredibly hard to stop her. But she doesn’t have any flashes or dashes only running.

BOT LANE - Decent laner with strong poke and considerable skirmishes. Theara is an ADC that has a mind of her own. When she can determine you’re alone you will not escape her (unless you can go over terrain).

TOP LANE - This type of play, although originally not in my head, more and more begs the question of if this character too oppressive?

LORE AND CHARACTERIZATION

Description/Character Traits: Harsh/Cold on the outside Tender/Kind on the inside Stubborn Closed-Minded (about Noxians and Demacians) Open-Minded (about everything else) Caring Intuitive Secretive Vengeful May be Noxian, but isn’t actually an awful person

LORE - SHORT

Friends = Other Outcasts? Enemies = Noxian Champions, Demacian Champions, The man with the cane (Who? =^) )

Theara was born near a small town in Noxious, there she was a lonely child. Her parents never let her visit the town in fear of what it might turn her into. Theara became skilled in the arts of hunting in an attempt to have a source of entertainment that should could share with her father. From time to time she would have to go to her room because someone from town came to visit. One day though the visit ended in her mother being beaten. Theara had always wondered what the people from town were like, but now she never wanted to know. Her father told her stories of Demacia, Ionia and all of the places outside of Noxus, and she began to dream of leaving. Years went by without much changing, Theara finally got to the point where she was able to leave home and adventure. Before she had the chance too, her family was killed and the town was torched. She heard whispers that a Demacian force had snuck into Noxus for a special purpose. Theara, enraged with vengeance joined the Noxian army out of spite and, through deals, created the position of Seeker. A seeker’s purpose was to find information, both in and out of Noxus. After a year, Theara used this to hunt down what had destroyed her life.

LORE - OVERALL

Theara was born near a small town in Noxus, her parents were merely farmers which made them relatively isolated from town. Together they lived off the crops they grew, and her parents almost never went into town unless it was for something to repair the house or to sell. Her Father, early on in Theara’s life, told her that she was to always remember, that she must never go into town, he explained to her that since she had no business in the town and that it was a dangerous place she shouldn’t visit it. She had tried on many occasions to question her father and mother further about the town, but they would always reply with a single “no”. This shortness about the topic made Theara’s only source of entertainment the occasional hunting trips with her father. She loved the trips and to make it even more of a reason to bring her with him, she quickly learned the skills of the bow, and not much later mastered the daggers for skinning.

Her father meant more than anything to her, even her mother couldn’t get between them. For Theara friends weren’t a thought in her head, all of the nearby farms didn’t have children, and the town wasn’t an option so she grew attached to her father. This led Theara to have an interest in the town. Not many people came to see her parents, so those who did, gave her a want to ask them questions, but every time her parents had her go to her room. These visits had her invent stories about the visitors. She never learned why those people were there or who they were, but nevertheless she respected her father’s wishes and didn’t listen in or sneak a peek. That is until everything changed (when the fire nation attacked) when they were visited by an utterly malicious man.

When the man arrived everything at first seemed normal but while she was in her room she heard a “thud”. She became panicked and worried, so she decided to break the rules and listen in. When she peeked around the corner she saw her mother on the ground with a bruise on her head. The man had hit her with his wooden cane, which he now held firmly against her lower leg. Her father, standing still, locked eyes on the man and with a calm voice continued to talk.

[Man] “Now that she’s quiet, where is it?”

[Father] “You…”

The sound of silence grips the house.

[Father] “Give me one moment.”

Her father turned and went out the side door and out to the barn. When he returned he had a relatively large canvas sack and handed it to the man.

[Father] “Here.”

The man peers into the sack. He pulls a small pouch from his side and tosses it onto Theara’s Mother. The clank of coins pierced the house when it landed.

[Man] “There’s a treat for finally listening to a command.”

He turns to leave.

[Man] “It took you long enough.”

The man walks out of the house and everything grows quiet. Theara’s father makes sure to quickly check on her mother. The hushedly discussed something, her father, now tearing up, seems to be apologizing to her mother. Theara can’t make out anything other than one word.

Theara had tears welling up in her eyes she knew only a few things about those in the village, but she never thought that they, the man, would be this vile. After that, Theara never had another curious thought in her head about the Town. If anything she wanted it to burn.

A decade went by without another incident. Theara was in her early twenties, she now had an urge to go out and see the world. She wanted to go places where the people were kind and willing to be a part of a community, something she never really had. She had decided to leave for Demacia to sneak by any Noxian patrols in her way. The stories she heard from her father about Ionia, Freljord, and other places created a surge of excitement every time she thought of them. She planned her supplies, and she planned to leave, but before that happened she wanted to have one last meal with her family. She promised her father and mother that she would catch the biggest deer she could find in the forest, they happily obliged.

Theara left the house, bow strung over her shoulders, and daggers sheathed by her sides, she set off to catch the deer. She prowled the forest for over several hours, and she managed to find one of the most magnificent deer she had ever seen. She took aim and with a ‘thwat’, the deer dropped. Theara began the process of bringing it back, and the long trek back would be one of the last peaceful moments in her life.

As Theara returned home she saw smoke rising over the Tree line. She dropped the deer and bolted to the house. When she arrived she found her parents, dead, inside and the town burning in the distance. Theara, in a stupor, went into town. There were people rushing and screaming, hoping to put out the flames. Theara walked through town paying no heed to those around her except for their cries. Those who had managed to stop some of the fire were yelling and shouting hoping to seek revenge for what had happened. Those shouts would stick with Theara for the rest of her life. She said but only one thing as she walked.

[Theara] “Demacia?”

After, the stupor ended, Theara began to fill with hatred. She gave into revenge, they would pay for what they did.

She went to the nearest Noxian city and joined the army. She pushed harder than all of the men in the army combined. Although, Theara was held back by the hatred she had earned from the officers for making for making their drills look “easy”. Within the first year of the army Theara had already gained a reputation throughout the officer's. She always wanted to prove that she was worth more than what they saw. Whenever she was assigned something she would do more. 100 pushups? How about 150. 100 sit-ups? 200. 100 squats? 250. 10km run? Pfft. This “example” kept her from making anything of herself in the normal army. Over the course of the next five years she didn’t earn ranks or promotions.

Most of the officers wanted the glory of war for themselves. So she thought of all the things she could do, and one idea “clicked”. She made the arrangement with the officers. She promised to not push any higher, IF they allowed her a position of her design. A position that wouldn’t receive any/all credit for all of the missions she went on, all credit would be claimed by the officers who wanted it. This position later became known as “Seeker”. Unlike any other military position, the only people who knew about was Theara and the officers who allowed it. Through this secretive position of power, Theara spent her time as trying to find out who was the one who destroyed her town.

After a couple of years later Theara had gained information about who had been sent into Noxus, from a Demacian garrison that she had infiltrated. With the information she had found, she would be able to find the one(s) who had ended her family. She would not hold back.

Really good concept indeed. I'm not sure if her abilities are too overpowered, underpowered or just ok. Riot won't just add it to the game obviously but quite inventive creation, good job if you actually managed to create it!

For the passive, I feel like losing the ability to apply move speed once you get close enough is slightly awkward, especially given that the attack speed you gain is fairly marginal. Also, is Sought something that you put on the enemy you auto, as per "towards those she auto attacks", or herself "as per her ultimate giving her sought" Of course, as an adc, you most of the time don't want to be closing into melee anyway, and with nothing else in her kit to incentivize going into melee other than a 20% AS buff, this part seems superfluous.

For Q speed, these things are usually measured in Units per second. Slower skill shots (like Lux/Morgana snares), are 1400 units per second, and faster projectiles often go at 1800-2000.

Her W with only a 450 range, is a worse version of a dash on a longer cd, the concept is interesting, but it doesn't 'do' anything more than a dash.

The E however, I really like. Unique application and concept, playing with the turn radius. Long as it doesn't give you the ability to clear wards.

Her R is confusing for reasons both regarding her passive and the vision reduction. I presume it just means you get the attack speed and the move speed no matter what.

The vision I think is troubling in the fact that it's entirely inconsequential, but buffing it would make it toxic. 4% vision reduction (or even 20%) means very little, and even less if you still get vision from minions/allies/etc. If an adc hits you 10 times, you're probably dead. However, buffing this ability to make it significant after a couple of autoattacks is toxic as then it's a 5+ second Blind debuff.

I'd recommend reworking the vision reduction to be 15% per hit, to a maximum of 60%, and to nullify vision from other sources while the debuff is on them. However, to counteract this I would also recommend having it fall off by 5% per quarter second after having not auto attacked the target for 1 second, so enemies that manage to get away from you aren't just blinded for 5+ seconds.

Overall to work as an adc, I think she needs a slight retooling, with a better steroid than a 20% AS buff. If you want to go with the dagger theme, she also needs reasons to enter melee range.

The dates for the CCOS have been extended, so you now have much more time to do whatever it is you need to do - edit your concept, enter a new one, what have you.

My only comment is that she is not a adc in my opinion. to be honest, im not sure what she is. she has one damageing ability and the rest are strict utility/ movement abilities. also, no CC of any sort? not even a slow? (I dont count the Ult slow because it isn't a very reliable form of cc. it only being up rarely) i dont mean to be harsh but, every ADC i know of (at least the ones that are played) have at least some form of CC in their kit. no, she seems like an oracle to put it simply. let me put this differently, i like the idea of a vision-based champ, but this kit does not fit in the ADC department. unless you make the q strong enough to compensate, but then it would be over powered. sorry to sound harsh, but it is to weak in the damage department to be viable as an ADC. you could kite the hell out of a darius early game though, until he gets phage :/
