yesterday i had a really cool idea. i was thinking about skins people could get for items. only items that had a passive or active like when you press it. it could have some particle explosions or stuff.

People who bought some of the URF icons last year or year before I don't remember, git finishing move particles when they slaid someone, pretty cool stuff.

The affect of items like item 3157 is more to indicate invurnability rather than for cosmetic effect.

I don't see why an effect of zhonyas would get a special skin but any other invurnability such as Bard 's ult stays the same with his skins.

And then there's stuff like item 3143 which make particles you don't notice and half the time don't know went off unless you see their cooldown timer and effect.

The only item that would have a good concept to work off of for a skin is item 3512 since they could change the look of the voidlings and give the portal a ward skin like customization.
