Mid Year Mage Updates - Brand rework concept

Hi there. So with upcoming Mid Year Mage Updates, I have decided share my own concepts for some of the champions that are gonna be reworked. In the text below I describe each skill and under you will find my comment about the change I suggest and why do I think it shall work well that way (the text of my comments is wrote by italic letter and closed between parenthesis - just like this). I would like to add, that none of the numerical values are meant to be exact - things needs to be tested and calculated properly - so I write just approximate numerical values - sometimes I even use "x*" instead of number - that means Im totally not sure about numerival value. Well I hope this will help the Riot Developers at least a bit :)

Brand:

/passive/ Blaze:
Brand's spells light his targets ablaze, dealing 8% of their maximum Health in magic damage over 4 seconds. (just as it is now)

/Q/** Sear:** Brand launches a fireball in the target direction that deals magic damage to first enemy it hits. (just as it is now) Blaze: Sear bounce to the nearest enemy unit. If it bounce to the blazed enemy, it will bounce again up to 1/2/3/4/5 times. Sear can bounce back to originally hit enemy, but every subsequent hit on the same target will reduce the damage of fire blast.

(This change should make up for Brands original ultimate - at this rate, he will be able to deal some serious damage esepcially in 1vs2 situations typical for him - its especially great to disengage enemy junglers gank, so it will make his lane phase more safe, allowing him to be played at top as well. Damage however will not match the orignial Brands ult, so if not useded correctly in combo with the other spells, this new Sear shall come to waste - especially late game.)

/W/ Pillar of Flame: After 0.625-second delay, Brand makes the target area erupt in flame, dealing magic damage to enemies within. (just as it is now) Blaze: Pillar of Flame also forces all enemy units to walk towards the center of area hit by skill with their movement speed slowed by 50% for x* seconds.

(This will provide neccesery crowd control effect for Brand in brand new shape. The effect shall make perfect combo with Q - so the combination of this 2 skills shall still provide the cc+damage combo - it shall be just more interesting to pull out. With this Brand will also get crowd control for a larger area to make him more usefull in late game team fights.)

/E/ Conflagration: first use: Brand starts to charge slowing himself for 50% and increasing the range of this spell from 500 up to 1000. second use: Brand conjures a powerful blast at his target, dealing magic damage to them. Blaze: If the target is ablaze, Conflagration spreads to nearby enemies.

(Very gentle change - shall not entairly change Brands play style, however it should add a certain fun factors to it. Brand would be able to cast his E instantly as before - for example to set a blaze enemy who jumps on him - however in slightly lower range. Brand also gains an opportunity to join up the fights in longer range with his E too - in exchange he makes himself more vulnerable to attacks of enemy assassins.)

/R/ Pyromancy: For x* seconds Brand transforms to flaming juggernaut empowering his movement speed by 5/7/10%. For the duration of effect no armor and magic resistance penetration affects Brand. He also empowers his ablities:

Blaze Blaze covers area of range 350/400/450 around ablezed enemy champions. Magic damage dealt by Blaze is dealt to all enemies within area of effect. If an enemy stands in area of Blaze from another enemy for 2 seconds, he will be ablazed as well. Damage dealt by ablazed areas stacks.

(This will provide Brand with massive splash damage that can be even maximalized if played well. If there will be 2 enemy guys standing in each others ablazed areas they will both recive magic damage 8+8% of their max hp - this damage however could be realy OP if it stacks too much, so perhaps there could be some kind of reduction, lets say like 1-2% per ablazed area dealing damage to 1 target – so in case of 3 areas stacked damage dealt could be like 8+6+4% of max hp - in any case, this possibility to massivly damage groups of enemies would definitly force the enemy players to split from each other. As well it shall motivate Brands allies to pick champions that will help him to bring his full potential out - combo J4+Orianna+Brand would become probably the most awesome wombo-combo).

Sear Adds 1/2/3 extra bounces. 15/20/25% od damage dealt by Pillar of Flame will Brand absorb as HP.

Pillar of Flame: Increase area hit by Pillar of Flame by 10/15/20%. 15/20/25% od damage dealt by Pillar of Flame will Brand absorb as MP.

**Conflagration: ** Reset cooldown of Sear and Pillar of Flame.

(Finally the biggest change - the ultimate shall extend Brands damage dealing abilites to the top of their potential, while providing him some sustain to endure massive team fight. This ultimate is meant to transform Brand into splash ap hyper carry for a certainly short amount of time - that means the player will have to time this transformation well. Also the team work and cooperation abilies of Brands team shall be crucial. Enemy team on the other hand will have to find an effective way to minimalize the impact of this burning disaster on them.)

Make brand a mid lane mage JUGGERNAUT! also keep the stun but only stun if Q bounces back to a target #Balanced
