(name needed but one suggested) , Title: The Life Line
so we all know riot's ekko and how he's supposed to be a utility assassin (Utility does not mean enough damage to carry the team XD)
so, randomly, I thought, what if there were a champion with a lot of drawbacks, but could function as both an assassin and a support (the only other option you can think of is Nidalee, right?)
well, enter Freya, The Life-Line
Freya is a melee with a lot of options in her kit to change her range, but she is an immobile sustained damage assassin of high priority
Because Freya deals with the power of life itself, there shouldn't be a resistance to it(true damage on 2 of her abilities) but at the same time, for such useful damage, there is a high tradeoff
kit
passive: Life Line; Freya may choose one friendly target per game and may target herself with it. every 2 minutes or so(the natural cooldown time for passives), any time the selected champion is reduced below 10% hp, a shield is granted for 10% of their hp and negating death should their hp have been reduced to 0, however, the champion may be killed again
here's where things start to get interesting
Q: Life burst: in a small area of effect around the caster, if no target or an enemy target is selected, everything around Freya in a small area will be damaged. If a friendly target is selected, Freya and all units around her within the small area will be healed slightly
the mana cost for this ability would probably start at 50 and increase to 130
the heal begins at 30, the damage at 60
radius: melee range
W (her trademark) : Life Line : toggle effect. Toggled on, Freya's attacks change depending upon the target. If an enemy is selected to be auto attacked, Freya's auto attack is a constant wave of damage, beginning at 2% (+1% per 100 ap) to a max of 10% hp per second (+1% per 100 ap)of enemy's maximum hp per second.
she now becomes the only champion capable of auto attacking an ally. If an ally is selected as her target, the target is healed for a smaller ratio (either 50% or 25% but for the same mana cost as attacking an enemy)
due to the fragile nature of life force, while life line is active, Freya can not use any ability other than Life Transfer and suffers 25% extra damage from any incoming damage source)
mana cost: 100% of damage done to target and equal amount to what would have been done at full heals to the target (so if the ratio was changed to 25%, you would still be losing 100% mana)
E: (I think this one should be a passive but I don't know for sure) : passive aura: 20 hp /40 hp/60 hp/80 hp/100 (maybe 30% max ability power...don't want it getting too strong)hp per 5 seconds to herself. if an ally comes into range of the effect, the effect is halved and proceeds to halve for each additional ally in range (stay close to your support, get rewarded, stay too close and the effect becomes minimal)
R: Life Transfer: This ability can be used with or without Life Line. Selecting a hostile target, using the same hp ratio as life line, begins channeling the hostile's health into a target, including self targeting. While active damage taken is increased by 50% for a total of 75% if life line is active, target heals for 15/20/25% of damage done to the target enemy by life transfer
mana ratio: (125% maybe? idk)
it provides a simple playstyle with a lot of power, a lot of positioning and self preservation and some very considerable drawbacks
I think her positions could be any of the 3 primary lanes but not an ADC. She would benefit from the spell clarity, likely be large user of Rod of Ages and extremely mana dependent
any thoughts would be appreciated
