Why can't we get more cinematic league videos?

Title. I'm not talking about the tahm, Asol, ekko, bard cinematics I'm talking about the older ones where we saw our favorite champions actually going toe to toe with each other, like the Leona and ahri or garden vs katarina ones. They were really action packed and gave more of a feel towards the champions although we did get one similar to that(I'm very thankful for it) the project overdrive video were I saw my current and old mains go at it, zed,fiora and lucian..I'm just wonder will we get more videos like that I'd love to see vi, kindred, riven, jhin, and etc fighting in an animated video HELL I'D KILL TO SEE RENGAR VS KHAZIX OR NASUS VS RENEKTON, VI&CAIT VS JINX, ZED VS SHEN ETC...would just be amazing to get more of these just a thought

I've recently started into animation, and making a pretty basic animation took me about 3 weeks and it was only 1 min long. It takes a lot of work because they have to create the characters and give them a skeleton for movement (they have to do this from scratch for the insane quality). After that, the environment itself would be the most difficult, especially one like new dawn. Then theres lighting, camera's, music (which they compose themselves). I could see it taking nearly a year just for a animation like new dawn.

They want to put more money into the important things like....the skin development team or the "balance team"

They take a rather long time to make is why.

Though, I think we could expect one this year or next year possibly.

They might be working on one now. Those videos take a LOOOOOOOOONG time to make at the production values they are made.

You have to take into the fact that they are probably wicked expensive with no real cost benefit and take a really long time to make.

Here's a list of reasons of why we can't have nice things

It cost's money
It takes a long time to make

TBH, Riot is probably already working on a couple of them. They're just so demanding and time consuming.

I agree. Those videos were very cool, but I don't want them at the expense of more content and patches.

because cinimatics like that with that ammount of detail and extremely good quality being a decent length can take up to a year and a half at the least

They're probably trying to figure out 'Hm, what should we even do with the cinematic this time since Summoners are out and all our lore is blah'. None of the old cinematics even make sense anymore.

As awesome as they are, they require a huge budget and a lot of time. I think the current rate is fine, believe me though I would LOVE to see more!

Honestly, I'm happy when they release a new champion or event ONLY because of the new teasers/music. When the champs release, I'm always disappointed lol.

we probably can, and it's probably in the making. They take a TON of work, as they create all of the sounds, write the music, and animate all themselves. Sit back and relax a bit.

As far as I've seen they release a cinematic every two years; last year was the skip year so it's likely there will be a cinematic some time this year. I could be totally wrong so don't put your hopes and dreams into this comment.

takes alot of time and money and people to do something with the quality of a new dawn. plus they dont really need it, a twist of fate is kinda the trailer, then they relooked the map so they made another one, i dont think they would do another (for summoners rift at least)
