Is Zed harder to play than Yasuo?

I want zed and I heard he's hard. I have friends telling me that zed is too hard for me. I can play Yasuo well... So if I can play Yasuo then could I play zed? I am also level 20.

They are both somewhat difficult to play, but in different ways. They are hard for different reasons.

Zed has a high skill cap, if that's what you mean. It won't be too difficult to pick up, though. He's not a "1v5 gg ez I'm gonna collect my freelo" until you actually practice playing him, contrary to popular belief.

as a zed main that just recently started using yas, i'd say so. the reason for this is that yasuo has much more mobility, with his e cd being almost nonexistent. zed on the other hand has a particularly long cd on his gapcloser/escape. this means he has to be more careful about when using it, and how he uses it. also, he uses energy, which while recovering fast, is just so much different from yas who only waits for cd. their q is more or less the same, with zed having more range, but you have to remember that enemies in front of your target will reduce the damage. i think the ult is really what makes zed harder to play though. yas can ult all five, which has all of them prevented from attacking, whereas zed ults into the group leaving him vulnerable momentarily. im not saying he's a billion times harder than yasuo, but he definitely does take moderately more skill to use effectively. he's loads of fun though, and anyone saying he's too hard is too closeminded. you have to play a few games to get the basics right, but i dont believe any champs are too hard to play, if you practice with them enough

If you are new to the game, Zed is pretty hard to get down. Heck, he's hard to get down if you are a veteran.

The hardest thing about zed is managing your energy, which isn't hard at all. Zed is one of the easiest assassins imo.

Well i think that Zed can be strong if u practice him alot. And Yasuo can too.But i think that Zed is easyer to play than Yasuo. For you to play Yasuo you have to know when to E when to R when to W.For Zed u use W,E then Q and its over gg.But with Zed u can do alot of combos.I did a combo where Jinx was chaising me and i used W and i stood near the shadow. After Jinx came closer i used R and E.When the R completed i used Q and it damaged Jinx from all 3 ways.Becouse i had 2 shadows and me so i trew out 3 shurikens. But overall i think Zed is easyer than Yasuo :D.

Shutting down a Zed is extremely easy.

Playing a Zed properly as to where you don't end up getting shut down, now that is hard.

You can't really compare one playstyle to the other. Both champs are worlds apart based on their skills.
