What if DFG was reintroduced...

But then it was a support item called Frost Queen's Grasp. I would think a build path like this would be good.

item 3098 + item 3114 + item 1052

850+550+475 and then tacking on maybe a 600 gold cost at the very end would make it expensive enough to be okay.

Stats would be - 40(Or 45) Ap, 15% Cdr, and 100% Mana Regen. Passives would be - Tribute 15 gold and Ambient 2 gold along with an active dealing 10% max health in magic damage and amplifying all magic damage by 15% for 4 seconds.

I tried thinking of ways to make it not abusive by Annie ,Leblanc, Veigar, and Syndra seeing how they COULD be played support and seeing how they did with DFG.

Maybe it isn't cost efficient yet, but maybe tweaks to make it more supportive and less of raw damage would make it better. Any Ideas?

I could see this working well with KogMaw, Corki and even out of meta picks.

You would have to change Tribute on this item specifically to increase the on champion attack gold and take away the ambient gold.

This would make the most expensive part of the item completely useless for mid lane mages, because they would never have Tribute from last hitting. This way it's gold inefficient for mid laners even with the passive, but still gold efficient for supports because they benefit from the passive in lane.
