I expect not to get hit by the silence part of his Q. It makes it frustrating to get ran up to, Q'd, and then spinned on all while I'm trying to get out of range.
But I can't cause I'm silenced so I have to stay in range for way too long.
guess what... Vault while he is coming at you. You will get silenced but he will be knocked back and you will be away from him and his E.... What about that?

This sounds like something for a bug report, not G&B discussion.
I think it's because the silence part of his Q his considered a spell. It would make sense for the silence to not be applied unless the Q does damage however.
Blinds should stop on hit affects. After all if they didn't hit you why are you taking dmg from that red buff or silence?
