[Champion Concept] Crow, the Cruel
Crow is something I came up with and decided to write down so I wouldn't forget. He is influenced by Dota's Lifestealer and Ember, as well as League's Leblanc and Reksai. Old Draven too.
He also has a few unique mechanics that I hope you find interesting. The idea was to make a dedicated splitpusher who is resistant to dives.
Placeholder stats: Zed
Passive: Vicious Crow's autoattacks apply a stacking debuff, the enemy's armor and mr is reduced by 2/2/2/3/4 + (0.1 Bonus AD) for 3/5/7/9/10 seconds. Newly applied stacks refresh the duration. If Crow attacks another champion, the debuff is cleansed. This effect is twice as effective against minions and neutral creeps.
This ability gives Crow the ability to fight single targets efficiently, without being overpowered for teamfights. This means no megatank Crow autoattacking the entire enemy team.
Q: Crow's Perch (One of those unique mechanics I mentioned) Mana Cost: 150/140/125/115/100 Cooldown: 50/50/45/45/40 seconds Crow hops onto a turret and becomes untargetable for 5/5/6/6/7 seconds. During this time, the Turret's attack is replaced with a beam skillshot that is emitted by Crow. The beam can be fired at the same rate the turret can fire normally, and does 150/250/350/450/500 + (0.6 bonus AD) true damage. If the Turret dies, it crumbles and so does Crow. The turret's death means Crow's death. Crow cannot cast any abilities while Crow's Perch is active.
The beam is large and dark with a purplish tint in appearance. Imagine Viktor's death ray but a lot slower moving/easier to dodge and more powerful. It is a very defensive ability, buying Crow time and allowing him to hold onto his turret or help his team defend.
W: Destruction (Another new mechanic) Passive: 2/4/6/7/8% of all damage done by Crow destroys the enemy's hp. Destroyed hp may only be recovered through death, and may not be healed.
This ability enhances Crow's ability to splitpush, giving him the edge. Crow rewards persistence with punishment.
E: Murder Mana: No Cost Charges: 5 Crow can send out up to 5 untargetable mini-crows in a radius of 1000/1500/2000/2500/3000 around himself. These mini-crows remain where they are placed for 2 minutes, granting very slight vision where they are placed. Vision is granted in a 150 unit radius around the crow. Once all 5 crows have been placed, the skill is replaced with "Piercing Flight".
This skill allows crow to keep an eye on his surroundings while also functioning as a gap closer(read on) and an escape(read on).
E: Piercing Flight Mana: 200/175/150/150/150 Cooldown: 100/90/85/80/75 Crow launches to his crows in order of placement, finishing at the last one placed. Crow deals 30/50/70/90/110 + (0.15 Total AD) to all enemies he passes through. Enemies who have destroyed health take all of their destroyed health as additional damage. Crow is untargetable while in flight. Once the skill is off of cooldown, Crow's Murder charges reset.
R: Bird of Rapture Mana: 200/175/150 Cooldown: 180/160/140 Crow takes the form of the targeted ally, minion, or neutral creep for either 2 minutes or until he reactivates the skill. If he takes the form of a creep, the original creep is removed from the game until Bird of Rapture ends. If it is reactivated, Crow heals himself for 300/400/500 + (1.0 Total AD), damages surrounding enemies for 150/250/350 + (0.75 AD), and applying a 50/70/90% slow that decays over 3 seconds.
Bird of Rapture fills many roles. It is an effective juking tool. It is an effective way to surprise the enemy. It is an effective way to draw fire. It is the perfect tool for a dedicated splitpusher.
So what do you guys think?
