Pha' Rai' Kix', The Voidling Matriarch (Support/Mage)

I saw through every faction and saw that a few are missing a truly META support for some of them, so i decided to make one for them. Also, if you think another faction needs a support champion, just drop a comment below I haven't worked out all the numbers yet so just bear with the OP nature of this character, and put down some nerf notes perhaps

Visuals:- ( I can't draw to save my life but i will just describe her) When i first tried designing her, i realized that she kinda look baron in the face. She has glowing eggs attached to her chest, and has three pairs of arms and 4 pairs of burrowing claws on her waist. She doesn't have legs, just a snake-like lower-half which she slithers about with.

Lore:- (She is Void/Frejilord) They say that only the strong can grow in the harshest of mountains in the frosty state of Frejilord, each litter facing an icy cull, only the truly savage and fierce can survive to adulthood However, perhaps that is to be contradicted by a new emergence lurking within the heart of the mountain. A mother and her children live with the home of stone and ice, the woman tending to her children with great nurture cared for each and everyone of her brood with equal love. This mother was in fact a creature of the void, Pha' Rai' Kix', a creature who can reproduce voidlings from the eggs she clutches to her chest, and raises each larvae tenderly. They say the Strong eat the weak, so Pha' Rai' Kix' feeds the strong to her babies, making them even more fierce than the most vicious bears of the freezing forests, able to defend themselves from any who stumble upon the nest, until she was approached by a voice. This voice echoed out to her and she had come to face a man in a purple hood (Malzahar ) who soon asked of her to request the aid of her children in his march to glory. Although at first reluctant, she couldn't help but obey the voice of this master of void, and demanded that all she requested was that she could be watching over her children. That was how the snake-like creature was brought to the Fields of Justice, but none of the summoners knew of the hidden threat that is brewing in the heart of the mountains of Frejilord, unaware of the skittering fury that was ever growing in numbers, all awaiting their time to feast upon the world

(lame i know, but hey, its a work in progress and in isn't really important)

Passive:- A Mother's Embrace Pha' Rai' Kix' draws in all the heat around her, slowing the attack speed of nearby enemies by (1x Heroes Level), and then proceeds to release that heat through her body, increasing the attack speed of nearby allies by (1x Heroes Level)

Q:- Frost Voidling (or Voidling Egg) Cooldown:- 16 Mana Cost:- 60/90/120/150/180 Pha' Rai' Kix' lays an egg into the ground, which soon becomes invisible. These eggs will hatch if an enemy draws near, and from it a frost voidling will emerge and attack the enemy that drew near. This voidling will have 200/250/300/350/400 Health, (50% AP) Attack Damage, and each of its attacks will slow the enemy by 20%/30%/40%/50%/60% for 3 seconds. This Voidling is uncontrollable and will only target the enemy that triggered it. Upon killing its target, the voidling will burrow under ground and form a similar trap, which arms itself after 3 seconds. Frost voidlings cannot regain health except through health regeneration, and deals half damage to minions

W:- Parasitic Larvae Cooldown:- 15/13/11/9/7 Mana Cost:- 50/60/70/80/90 Pha' Rai' Kix' launches out a carnivorous voidling grub, which attaches to the target, dealing 10/20/30/40/50 (+25% AP) magic damage every second. The Larvae detaches after 5 seconds or until the target dies, and lays on the floor for 10 seconds. Pha' Rai' Kix' or an ally can pick up the grub and receive 60%/70%/80%/90%/100% of the damage the grub dealt back as Health and 20%/30%/40%/50% of the damage dealt by the grub as Mana. An enemy can also step on these larvae and deny the heal. Deals half damage to minion

E:- Nurturing Pheromones Cooldown: Toggle Cast (0.5) Mana Coast: 10/20/30/40/50 per second Pha' Rai' Kix' passively increases the Hp regeneration of all nearby allies by 2/4/6/8/10 When toggled on, she releases chemicals from her body that enhance all nearby allied champions and nearby frost voidlings, granting a bonus of (5%/10%/15%/20%/25% AP) extra damage, and 3/6/9/12/15 extra armor and magic resistance. As the toggle persists, the mana cost increases every second by 2/4/6/8/10 mana per second

R:- The Swarms Banquet Cooldown:- 100 Mana Cost:- 150 Pha' Rai' Kix' jabs an enemy with a series of poisons and scents, damaging them by 50/100/150 (+100% AD(yes AD, not AP)) and slowing the enemy's movement and attack speed by 15%/30%/45% for 3/3.5/4 seconds. The Target becomes a meal for all attackers, any one who attacks the marked enemy gains 50%/65%/80% of damage dealt back as health

EDIT NOTE:- I Have made a few tweaks, but please, feel free to keep on the suggestions, i would really love for riot to notice

For the voice, maybe it could be really raspy like Zagara from starcraft

Way too strong for a passive. At level 8, this is stronger than a Frozen Heart. Heck, at earlier levels than that it's stronger because it boosts the attack speeds of allies. Cool idea, just need to lower the numbers a lot. Good for a support.

Q:- Brood Nest Cooldown:- 50 Mana Cost:- 90/110/130/150/170 Pha' Rai' Kix' uses her claws to burrow into the earth, making a small den, before releasing her eggs inside. After 3 seconds, the Nest becomes active. When active, the nest lasts for 30 seconds or until it is destroyed by 10 hits, granting a 30 gold bounty. When Active, the nest produces every 5 seconds 1/1/2/2/3 Frost Voidlings, who have 200/250/300/350/400 health, and an attack damage equal to (50% AP). Each attack slows the enemy by 30%/35%/40%/45%/50% for 3 seconds.

10 hits is way to many on a support abilities that summons a minion every 5 seconds. Heck at level 5 this thing spawns a creep wave ever 10 seconds.

Again, 10 seconds is way too long. This will counter most champions regen rates at early levels completely. Not only that, but the fact it has a 15 second cooldown at level 1 means that there's essentially only a 5 second break between each one.

The bonus is also off the scales as well. I like the idea and have had something similar myself in the past, but restoring health and mana gives incredibly sustain to your ally after dealing huge amounts of damage to the enemy. Not only that, the 30 seconds to grab it is a huge window too. At the very least this would need something similar to what Zac has on his passive in that enemies can step on it to squash it.

This is interesting. A buff that exists as a toggle. Rather than be a flat mana over time, another option to consider is a continually escalating cost (eg 1 second 5 mana, 2 seconds 10 mana, 3 seconds 15 and so on) that caps out. That way it's good for short engages like a normal buff typically is, but becomes more costly as the engage wears on.

R:- The Swarms Banquet Cooldown:- 120 Mana Cost:- 200 From under the earth, Pha' Rai' Kix' summons forth her entire brood to rise to the surface, making a large area hostile to all enemies, any who dare to tread on the area will be ravaged by a swarm voidling grubs, dealing 30/60/90 (+25%AP) per second, and slows movement and attack speed by 40%/60%/80%. This effect lasts for 3/4/5 seconds

Honestly, for the kit and theme this feels pretty lackluster. Sure it's a decent ability, but it seems very generic to put it bluntly. Not only that, this is stupid broken late game with the numbers you've given. Against a single champ, to slow movement speed AND attack speed by 80% for 5 seconds is basically a guaranteed win in trade. To potentially slow a whole TEAM is game breaking.

All in all there are some interesting ideas here. I like the W and the E in particular, even if they need balancing. Good idea for a first draft.

It seems like you've had some thorough reviews already! Ill just throw a couple of points in here for you:

  • With Pha' Rai' Kix's parasitic larvae, it restores mana. This is fine as all ADCs (As far as I'm aware) use mana. But any other person in your team who does not use mana is disadvantaged by this. I believe this was one of the reasons why Soraka's mana restore was removed form her kit as a support. Maybe make it a heal on health, or a weaker health/movement speed buff.
  • Her ultimate heal is very large. Imagine 80% lifesteal on an ADC. That Is Massive! I know you said you were fine tuning the details, so that's fine I understand there's a way to go.
  • She has a lot of buffs, most of them in auras throughout her abilities. They are very unique, but just thinking that those buffs may be a lot for one support to have.
  • She has no solid crowd control beyond a slow. Most ADCs cannot escape on their own from assassins and fighters, and rely on their support as a peel to keep them alive. You have the buffs for offensive combat and even long-term teamfights, but in terms of crowd control - she has nothing solid to keep her ADC alive or support her team in teamfights.
