How about we get rid of the Surrender option for Ranked Matches.

Ranked is a place where wins and losses have meaning.
Comebacks are not a bedtime story yordles tell their kits while tucking them in. It's a real thing, and i have won many a dire game with major face melting comebacks.

Many champs are late game champs, and never get their time to shine when you have negative people and quitters always trying to create needless Loss after Loss just so they can go on to Loose their next game sooner.

Surrender has no Place in Ranked.

Can we please do away with it and keep it to norms only?

1: Wrong Forum, try here 2: I honestly agree to a certain extent, toxic players get on my nerves but can be muted. But nothing tilts me more than people spamming surrender votes throughout a ranked game after the 15 minute mark. Especially since the addition of Shutdown Bonuses, there's always a chance to come back as long as you're trying, when people start a surrender you can tell that your team has already given up and no matter what you do, its not likely their attitudes will change and you end up losing for no reason. As soon as I see a surrender check my mood shifts and it becomes a matter of waiting for the game to be over. No matter how bad I'm losing I'll never surrender and seeing the majority of the community be so quick to give up when it doesn't look like things are going their way is incredibly disappointing. Getting rid of surrender in ranked would really help reduce tilt in my personal experience.

That being said, it's probably not a good idea. Because players are the way they are, removing the surrender option from ranked all together would only encourage more toxic behavior and intentional feeding. You're still going to get babies/flamers/throwers in your games either way, if they lose the option to quit entirely, they're just going to find more obnoxious ways to sabotage the game and make everybody else's experience as miserable as theirs is. You'd like to think that removing surrenders would encourage better behavior from players and make them want to try harder to win, but that's just not the case with most people.
