[Champion Concept] Feryel, Mother of the Faen
**Lore: ** The Glade, home of the Fae has been blessed with endless days of sunlight and life. A place where all that is good roams the forest free will feel a new presence, where no one can see. This mysterious disturbance has caused chaos throughout and has turned the creatures to the only person who may have the power to cleanse their home. The guardian of this land, the Mother of the Faen, Feryel.
Many centuries ago, a young girl Feryel, stumbled upon some magical threshold on the outskirts of a Valorian coast. She entered the Glade unknowing of where she was and what inhabited the area. Brave and curious, she walked through when she was suddenly barraged by many a faerie who took to her liking. She played with them for days on end, taking care of them like a nurturing mother, and forgetting her troubled past decided to make this her new home. Upon that decision the fae granted Feryel the powers of the Glade as its sole protector. Wings sprouted from her back and her peasant garbs transformed into a light flowing petaled dressed. A surge of knowledge entered her body and used her like a vessel. Feryel matured and her youthful spirit was lost; she spent the days in a strong hibernation for tending to the Glade was a lot of work. The guardian of this land, the Mother of the Faen, Feryel.
Lead by Lulu, the fae cry out and awaken the mother from her slumber. Everyone then hides in fear as she slowly rises from her sleep; standing alone, Lulu with Pix in her hands. Tears fall from the sorceress' unexpressive face as Feryel flails her hands around. The mother has gone blind. The once peaceful Feryel sheds tears alike her children realizing her stolen sight would be the cause of their concern. The Glade has gone black not just for the mother, but for the land's inhabitants. Turning to the league, Feryel wishes to avenge her stolen eyesight and return light to her home. "As guardian of this land and Mother to the Faen. I am Feryel."
**Greater Insight / Future Sight (Passive) ** Although blind Feryel's sense of perception is unparalleled due to her close attachment with nature. All wards that she places reveals a greater area. Periodically, she is also granted a larger vision area which is True Vision allowing her to see through unwarded fog of war (Like Quinn's "Heightened Senses") as well as stealthed enemy champions.

**Evil Chaser (Q) ** Feryel sends out a seeking spark of magical energy that moves towards enemies, dealing damage to the first target hit. Targets hit leave a cleansing trail of dust behind them allowing Feryel and her allies to see the movements of evil. The dust can be seen in the fog of war.

**Into her gameplay and model: **
-
Feryel (Fairy-el) would float around like syndra but with wings. Maybe Aether Wing Kayle size or slightly bigger. She is meant to be played as a Mid-lane mage but I could see people bringing her down to bot lane as a support due to her immense abilities to provide vision and act almost as an anti-gank champion. High mobility in the jungle will allow her to secure areas and roam to other lanes as well as catch fleeing enemies. Nature's Blessing will allow Feryel to save enemies and herself from taking fatal damage in tight spots as well as elongates battles and force enemies to be cautious about engaging on her. Her synergy with the jungler is extremely good. She may assist a jungler in killing the enemy jungle by running into the jungle and ulting, or maybe she'll fly over to the jungler and block attacks from the enemies which would save them from death.

About Evil Chaser (Q): I say "heat-seeking" but what I'm trying to get at is this. When Feryel casts Q in target direction; if a nearby enemy is close to the spell/spark it'll start moving towards them/leaning towards their direction. It will not sudden move directly towards/chase enemies. You could think of an asteroid passing a planet with strong gravity or the enemy having a slight magnetic pull.

**Skin Concepts: **
-
Officer Feryel (Because her Q sorta tracks the enemy and she can follow their trail, which would be the dust trail that is left when enemies are hit. Q model could be a little drone, rover, or even a police dog)

**Works well with: **
-
Leona- Lots of crowd control. Can immobilize multiple targets with her E and R which Feryel can then follow up with a Take Flight and place a slowing field under her enemies. -
Sivir- The two make an unstoppable force. Their ults synergize well with getting in the enemies face and along with her spell shield; Feryel can use Nature's Blessing to negate even more incoming damage. -
Rek'sai- With Burrow's Tremor Sense and Feryel's Evil Chaser, there is no safe place for the enemies. Additionally, Rek'sai’s tend to get up close to knock-up enemies with Unburrow which against will synergize well with Feryel's Ult, easy slow field from Take Flight while constantly shielding Rek'sai.
**Struggles Against: **
-
Ahri- Having high mobility, short cast times, and skills with multiple attacks, Ahri makes for the ultimate counter to Feryel. One Orb of Deception or Fox-Fire is enough to break Feryel's max level negation area from Nature's Blessing. Spirit Rush is also great for escaping both Take Flight and Evil Chaser (despite the fact that it is slightly heat-seeking). -
Ezreal- Much like Ahri, short cooldowns and an escape makes him for a slippery target. Ezreal can also surpass Feryel's shield from her ult since most of his skills deal magical damage (Feryel's shield only blocking physical damage). -
Rumble- Generally built quite tanky, Rumble would be a frightening opponent for Feryel. Flamespitter and Electro-Harpoon are both great for taking down Feryel's negation area. Scrap Shield and The Equalizer are also good for catching a fleeing Feryel or even as disengaging skills in general.
