Another Purpose for Orange Essence

(I'm no expert at game design, I'll admit that, so keep that in mind whilst reading this post.)

I think it would be pretty cool if Riot were to add another purpose to orange essence other than upgrading skin shards that you already have. If you're like me, you disenchant almost every single skin shard you get, and you've amassed a good chunk of orange essence. (See image) I do appreciate Riot giving us ways other than IRL money to unlock skins, but I have pretty trash RNG, so I never really unlock any! I just think it would be nice if for, lets say for an example, 3000 orange essence and pick a skin line to randomly get a skin from it, or a champion, or something of the sort. Again, I'm not expert game designer, so that price would probably have to be increased, or the picks changed, etc.
