Riot... Please... tell me why this is a thing. Can anybody explain why this would ever happen? I straight up don't understand how matchmaking works. We won the game yes, but purely because of the master yi 1v9'ing. Please please please just tell me why it's okay in any situation to match up a silver 4 against a diamond 3 player. I purely do not understand.

Normal and ranked have separate MMRs.

1 its not as important for norms, 2 the diamond can be queued up with one of the lower mmrs, just as the enemy team is
