Porthaw, the presence (name doesn't matter)

Me and my friends came up with this idea pre-Bard. We thought of this as a support, with a relatively lack luster minus the ultimate.

Passive: Standing still for more than 3 seconds slowly increases movement speed, up to 100% after 10 seconds. So 10% a second, with all damage immediately losing the speed and disabling it for 5 seconds. If an ally is near them when they start moving, they are given a buff inverted to their current health % (Example: 100% health 0% bonus movement speed, 50% health 50% bonus movement speed.)

Q: Targetted damage ability that deals 100/150/200/250/300 damage and knocks them either toward or away from you. This is dependent on the direction they are facing, with enemies facing towards being knocked back and enemies facing away being knocked toward 100 units 5 second cooldown Mana cost 50/55/60/65/70

W: Gives a 150/175/200/225/300 shield for 6 seconds, after the 6 seconds the shield becomes there health, healing them for the remainder of the shield 15/14/13/12/11 second cooldown 70/80/90/100/110

E: Launches a 200 unit wide wall at target direction, rotating once every 500 units, going 1000 units. Dealing 100/125/150/175/200 hitting up to 2 times, pushing enemies with it's movement. If it touches both an ally and enemy champion in .25 seconds, it knocks then enemy champion away and gives a 30/40/50/60/70 movement speed buff to the allied champion for 5 seconds (That is intended to be base not percent)

R: Porthaw becomes pacified (like Kalista ultimate) and gives the target champion 50%/60%/70% of Porthaw's health, armor, magic resist. and health regen. If the target champion dies, Porthaw attaches to the killer for the rest of the 5/10/15 seconds duration. Porthaw then removes half of the percent of the enemy champion's armor/magic resistance/ and health regen. The opposite also occurs if the enemy champion dies. After the ultimate, Porthaw reappears next to the champion (or where the champion was) and heals them for 500/750/1000 health. 90 second cd 100 mana cost

Lore: Porthaw is watching everything, making small changes to prevent potential apocalypses and undesirable events. List of several events Saved Rengar during the famous encounter with Khazix Prevented Lucian from rescuing Senna, which causes unintended events and the Spirit revolution Helped in several of Ionia's successes in the Noxian invasion And finally keeps all parts of Runeterra separate to prevent the annexation of it's diversity to defend against the void. Can be developed further if there is need for more development

(Would draw but I am awful at drawing)

Edit: Replaced broke ult with another ability and buffed the rest of the kit

I'd suggest actually playing the game and understanding it before trying again.

I see that being friendly isn't your strong suit based on your last comments.

Go ahead and tell me why you think his ultimate is fine and dandy. I'll be waiting for a very fruitful argument with plenty of explanation.

If you say so

It's design purpose is based on having global presence, the damage on the q is nonexistent and solely to help your teammates across in laning phase. E is used as zoning, q is to help secure a kill for your laner as well as potentially saving them with it. Do you have a clue how little shen's dash does damage-wise? The w is likely where your issue is, however remember than as a very small knockback area that is mostly to allow your teammate to survive a 1 sided fight. Admittedly the e would look and be pretty stupid, but it is mostly in teamfights to zone the enemy. By the way, I think you over-looked weakness of the q's damage, as that definitely would be broken with good ratios, but it doesn't. Finally, the Ultimate has similar cooldown's to karthus's and shens, which both have more map presence with it.

Any questions?

Sure buddy.

  1. Why do you think changing somebodies clicking direction for 1.25 seconds is interesting or helpful?
  2. Why is all of his spells low impact?
  3. Do you honestly believe, having one global cast of each spell, mind you with <=10 second CD is something that you would be proud of? Congratz, you maybe did a thing every 3 minutes. Yay?

It's an enemy's, not your team's (I seriously hope you got that.) I thought it is really good for escaping ganks and peeling as well as uniqueness due to it being a one of a kind ability. They are low impact due to if his q for example did high damage, he'd be played mid or top and be used as a instant karthus on a single target. As well, an across map soraka heal is absurd. The 10 sec thing is only is you cancel it, admittedly the effects of the q and w could potentially be normalized, but I have always liked uniqueness. Final point you might of missed, is an exceptional peeler with all of it's abilities, q can misdirect melee, w can re-position your adc or mid in comparison with the enemy, and e in the jungle is game changing.

No I fully understood that. But seeing as its 1.25 seconds and you could just play around it so it had no effect, yeah its pointless.

The sheer fact you have to think about this champion in globals shows you don't even understand the issue.

Reading comprehension. All your basic abilities are 10 seconds CD or less, but the ults a 180 second cd. You have the impact of a 10 second CD skill somewhere every 3 mins as an ult. Gratz.

Final point you might of missed, is an exceptional peeler with all of it's abilities, q can misdirect melee, w can re-position your adc or mid in comparison with the enemy, and e in the jungle is game changing.

Q is worthless against anyone with a brain. W is just a small knockback. E can just as easily push somebody back as push them towards you.

I'm done here.

Ok. I guess I really just wanted to make a champion kit with that ultimate that wasn't OP. I know admit that there is major issues with it, so I'm going to basically redesign the champion
