Look, in my honest opinion, even though I'm an unranked Nautilus main... I think Riven is not that bad to go against. Certainly yes she's a bit iffy here and there with her damage, but I really enjoy her backstory and her gameplay, and I made friends with some Riven mains over the years I've been on here and they're my dearest friends yet xD. But anyways for all the Riven mains that just want a glass of water in this hell, I give you a fan art of Lighting Storm Riven, made by a fan known as kair030....

...And yes...this was late at night and it was cold so I wasn't totally blushing...but I was. If RiotPenguin was here he would agree that this picture would make you blush.

Nice? I personally dont like Riven as champion because such high mobility that spams a lot of abilities.. Tho I like her lore and design. One thing I hate the most is people that say they main Riven but they just dont know how to play it. Overall nice art.

hmmm, the artwork is really nice! but I didn't really like the concept, honestly. She shows too much bare skin and I don't think it fits Riven, as well as her sword looks REALLY like Rengar's blade xD

but yeah I love Riven! She's fun to play and I just really like her concept. The idea of having a broken sword, her ult summoning the rest of her sword, its just w00a0oawow000ww. And I think she's the most badass female champion in league C:

welp I main Katarina, I love her more than I main Riven :) but the reason why I said Riven looks more "badass" than Kata is that Kat holds 2 daggers, which are way lighter than Riven's giant sword itself. That's just my way of grading the level of "badass"-ness

Riven is...? Her mobility is obnoxious as hell. If you 1v2 her and almost kill her, she gets away 90% of the time. At least Ahri's mobility is tied to her ult and requires mana. Riven just spams too safety. A good Riven ranks among the top tier of most annoying things in league.

Awesome fanart! ^_^ Probably one of the best Riven fanart I've seen and I've seen a lot(former Riven main).

Personally I've never had any trouble vs Riven. Maybe cause I used to main her so I know how she works but rarely have any trouble facing or playing versus her. My only issue with Riven is that is that she has an INCREDIBLY toxic fan base:/. In ranked on my climb to Gold 2(Which I lost) I ran into five Rivens, all of them were pain to play with all. They kept trying to 1 v s 5, they were pretty toxic, and it was just a pain to play with them. Like once we got Baron and while the rest of the team recalls Riven goes alone and trys to kill the ADC, she dies and she baits the support into dying as well:/

Of course, her gameplay is fine, but the fact that she has ALL ad scaling on her abilities(1 to 1 ratio on w and e, having her lowest ratio being 60% 0n her Q which is usable 3 times....), free steroid passive, with ult being a % BONUS AD STEROID, that STACK for each other.

But her story and idea is nice, i just feel that she needs to lose something. AND WHY THE HELL does she have a MAGIC SWORD but is entirely AD, but Aatrox has both ad and ap ratios...

Aatrox and Riven are very simular.... and aatrox doesn't need a shield or aoe stun to accomplish his tasks.

meanwhile the only time you knock enemies up is when they are in the epicenter of the jump, which is very small if you have ever played Aatrox you would know... THAT CAN BE INTERRUPTED, and has a resource of 10% of your hp just to be interrupted, that is not broken powerful, that is broken REDUNDANT.

Secondly, Riven builds hydra and bloodthirster in most scenarios so she has just as good lifesteal, paired with a shield that helps her for being aggressive, nice try. The only way Aatrox is super sustained is because he has so many AS steroids in his kit to make 3 AA proc sooner in battle.

And please tell me how the revive passive is gonna help you survive in the middle of the enemy team hmmm? Aatrox passive is useless when you get left inside there team, it is at its strongest only during lane phase where you can dive for free, but falls off to almost uselessness late game.

if u need to ask how aatrox will survive a team with his passive then any futher comments i make to you will be like talking to a brick wall aatrox is a tank with high dmg and lifesteal nuff said if u cant figure it out from there than im sry that my attempts of trying to explain to you why your "main" is almost as broken as yi will never succeed because as a common quote where im from "you cant fix stupid and you cant argue with crazy"

Ok, for one aatrox is by no fucking means a tank or a bruiser, if he builds any defenses he loses out on damage, and if you only build damage you cannot survive long enough to output the damage. Secondly, don't call out people as brick walls when statistically and factually riven is stronger in most cases, minus sustain.

rivens passive gives her free damage for abilities, up to 50%, while Aatrox does 100% ad on extra damage from w, but COSTS YOU HEALTH in the process, so you are using your hp to do more damage and taking damage from enemy also, a lose lose situation.

I am not an Aatrox main, I just can't see how you are saying Aatrox's AOE knockup is more oppressive than RIVENS AOE KNOCK UP when they do the same, where riven only has to hit a butto 3 times to do it while Aatrox loses 1/10 his hp to hope he lands uninterrupted, and stun on top of that.

Aatrox's sustain is the only thing he has to help him, his q and e in some ways hinder himself, as if he isn't stacking w, he can't survive long enough.

There really is no comparison here. Riven has better sustain through shield than Aatrox does through his W when it comes to actually fighting. Riven has more mobility, better cc, better damage. Aatrox's only advantage is the ability to accidentally (or purposefully in RARE cases) die in lane without penalty.

I am neither a Riven main or Aatrox main, I am not really fond of either champion, but trying to make Aatrox sound anywhere near as powerful as Riven in a joke. 100% joke.

She's only annoying when she gets fed. Otherwise as a mid/adc main I really like to play against her, there's potential for her to outplay you as much as the opposite.

It's just some fan skin because her name converted to chinese has a distinct relation to lightning...thus the lighting bolts and other things... Gonna need some more tea after this...

Everything is right about this picture except the face. It looks like an aspiring artist that just discovered anime and so drew the generic anime eyes and face shape. I wouldn't be able to tell that it was Riven if you didn't state it. That's how much the face throws me off but that's just my opinion
