Illaoi is due for a skin.

could really use a new skin. Jhin, a champion released after Illaoi, already has 3 skins. Granted, one of those skins was requested by SKT and he is also very popular, so we'll just say he has 2 skins. Illaoi only has 1 skin and she was released on the 24th November 2015. Kindred, one of the least popular champions right now, has 2 skins. Then next is Tahm, who has 2. Then Ekko who has 3 (4). It's like they just skipped over Illaoi (I know that's now how skins are decided, it's just an observation). I couldn't find any info on the longest a champion had to wait before a 2nd skin was released or even just an average wait time, but I think nearly 2 years is getting a bit excessive. No?

Illaoi has a lot of room for creativity in her skins. Personally, I'd love to see something like the Gatekeeper and/or Eldritch-like skins above made into real skins.

I think the main factor to why she doesn't have a skin yet is her popularity. People think she's just a low elo stomper who wouldn't be able to get past gold if one-tricked. This just isn't true. There are plenty of Illaoi mains sitting in Diamond to Challenger.

If you think Illaoi deserves a skin, I urge you to pick her up and start playing her. You might be surprised.
